Thanks, I downloaded the mod yesterday to try it- I like it, but I guess the real weapon names didn't cross over to the English translation, unless the mod contains both real life weapons and the vanilla models.

I ask this on every mod page I come across for Clear Sky, but do the pistols have proper iron sighting?

Congratulations, Clear Sky is now my favorite of the Stalker series because of this mod alone. Almost forgot to ask, ever since I installed this mod I can see the render grid in front of me. Any idea how to fix that?

I got the foot bone not set CTD that seems to be somewhat common, and mine wasn't fixed by disabling the player legs as some have reported. Happens every time I approach the Sin house in the Cordon.

Did you run it as admin? It didn't save the game/options at all until I ran the .exe as administrator.

Guess I'll stop posting as guest lol
1) Make new folder on desktop (name it whatever)
2) Put all zip files in that folder
3) Extract pt1 to that folder, should unzip as a single folder "Setup"
4) Open folder, run setup.exe

Love the mod, it's much more than I expected it to be. Really simulates the realistic stress of the Zone, but that comes with a bit of a learning curve which I appreciate. I am having an odd crash though- every time I've attempted to upgrade the SPAS-12. Not selecting which upgrade, just clicking "Upgrade" to view the menu. Let me know if you need a bug report.

I'm not sure we're getting "'the Stalker' we were promised" as much as we are the Stalker we were envisioning. Vanilla was exceptional especially if you got it at the 'loyalty' price for owning ShoC.

Same here, almost...I finally found a decent mod for Clear Sky that kept my interest long enough to get through it as of yesterday, just in time for the greatest mod for the Stalker series. Countdown to Misery 2.0!

I suspect people who are inexperienced with torrents comes to websites like this for assistance, but at the same time want to avoid the awkwardness of having essentially stolen a game. If you notice, anytime someone posts a comment asking how to install a torrent on a non-torrent related site, they always have an explanation of why they got it from a torrent client and not a legit source.

Hey I've got a question...I've got all the mod files installed correctly but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with the player.img and the gta3.img files. The tutorial just says to do the same thing to both of them, and I don't know what that is.

I apologize, I should be more dilligent about reading up on these things, lol. I was able to install it before I read this comment by comparing the file locations to those in the Complete 2009 mod. It looks fantastic, and this would clearly be the best mod yet...if I didn't also experience the random ctd's before I even get out of the Cordon.

Edit- I was able to fix the crash before launch by setting the affinity to one core, but I can't figure out the cause of the random in game crashes.

I'm not a modder. I'm having a hard time with this installation, there are so many new folders and I don't know where they go.

Is this more of a graphics mod, or does it contain weapon/item/gameplay additions?

Well, I really like the graphics...but is the emission at the beginning of the game not supposed to come? The stalker in the tower just dies and the task gets canceled. If that's supposed to happen, is that the only part of the story line that has been removed?

I love the mod, but I don't understand...is Skadovsk no longer safe from emissions? Its funny (or not) to see me dying in Skadovsk from an emission while watching everyone else act like nothing's happening.
