Deus Ex Unreal Revolution

Mod review

one of the most intelligent games from the past shows how immature and ridiculous todays games are. Ironic, but so true.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Game review

(notice: 9/10 cause of the shortness.)

i loved playing this game! the horror and scary moments are fantastic. sounds, music and lights fit perfectly in this world and make the atmosphere even more intense and horrifying. the levels are beautiful, but some areas differ too much from bordering areas.
the physics engine is great! the interactions with objects let you believe you really take part in the game. the gameplay is very peculiar. you have no idea of how enemies react to your actions, so you are acting like it was real: running away, hiding in the shadows, searching desperate for a hideout when an enemy is nearby. Those events give you the adrenalin to love playing this game even more!

too bad the game is pretty short. if you are quick you can play through the game in a few hours. after the first half of the game you will be thrown into the atmosphere of the endgame, so that you know when the game reaches its end. but still, the story is cool and well told.
the puzzles in this game are no real challenge but still nice and a good variety from the scary moments.
all in all it is a very nice and creepy horror game.
