I keep getting a fatal error every time I try to start up a match
It seems oddly for me I can't use the DX10 mode. Whenever I choose it and go to restart the game, it crashes during or after the THQ logo. It had seemed to work on the first version of the game but not on this current patched version. Any solutions?
Depressing this promising mod never happened.

My performance in this seems to be horrendous for some reason, especially when outside. I'm able to run most things completely smoothly like even Crysis 3 runs better than this at max settings. I have a 660 TI, 12 GB of RAM and an i5 3550 3.6 GHZ CPU. I have no idea what the problem is.
I've got a question. Will you guys ever put the old beta back up for download somewhere? I've always wanted to try it out but the download is gone. It'd be cool for people to see what the mod has evolved from.
Bit of a stupid question, but will there ever be a possibility of an Android port of the game?
I've seen quite a bit of popularity with other source mods like Underhell though. I really don't get why this doesn't have any attention.
It's kinda sad seeing how such an amazingly fun mod has like no community.
It's not even supported in 1.5.8 Why is that? It just adds tedium to the game.
I can't seem to find any way to change weapons via the mouse wheel which ends up just being insanely clunky. I can't even move back to the fists.
I've been experiencing the same problem with the random fps drops. Though when I reported it Silver just told me "Betatesters never encountered this so its your computer" Basically you ain't gonna get much help from him.
1. Because none of your betatesters had it doesn't suddenly mean it's not an issue.
2.I didn't know replacing other weapons than its supposed to replace was a feature.
3.Again because your betatesters haven't experienced it doesn't mean it's not an issue you should look into
5.It also may mean that the files you zipped up are less properly optimized than your own personal ones.
6.Again another issue that just because betatesters hadn't reported it doesn't mean it's not an issue to look into.
The bugs for me don't seem to be related to the power of the computer. I have a decently powerful PC that runs quite a few modern games at a full 60+ fps though I still experience quite a few bugs. It seems to be a much deeper problem.
A mod that could be great but has a lot of bugs that need fixing. Here's a list of what I've encountered so far.
1.The framerate will suddenly drop at random intervals here and there
2.When picking up a one handed weapon it does not replace the current one I'm holding but replaces the other one in my inventory.
3.When picking up ammo for guns it will sometimes deplete ammo instead of increasing it like it should, or will even decrease the ammo of other guns.
4.Sometimes the execution kills won't register or when they do the animation does not trigger and the enemy just gets shot with no animation happening to accompany it.
5.The initial startup takes around 5 minutes.
6.Sometimes when picking up one of the same weapon I have, instead of adding it as more ammo it will replace it entirely.
That's about all I've encountered so far, hopefully these can be fixed so I can get back to loving the cool additions and improvements!
That feature was sadly only in V2. Along with tonnes of other really cool yet cut features.

Is there a way to get it working with the steam version of Duke or are we just gonna have to wait for workshop support?

I found a bit of a bug with the side quest system. One character was supposed to give me a shotgun in exchange for painkillers though after I got them, I went to get the shotgun from him and he doesn't respond at all. So I'm stuck with him glowing yellow without a shotgun. Any solutions?

Coming from another Sr2 fan. Sr3 killed the series, but Saints Row 4 revitalized it. It mixes the silly with the serious marvelously unlike the third. Instead of judging the damned thing before playing it through, actually play it through. Oh yes and the gameplay itself if absolutely marvelous with a mix of Crackdown and Destroy All Humans, but more polished. Give it a try when it becomes cheap if you're so worried about it.

my god i just played it and it f****** rocks i couldnt even recognize it as a mod while i was playing it i couldnt even tell it was the source engine it looked like the unreal engine!!!! its some of the most beutiful work ive seen in my life! you guys should be a full time development company that makes full games on the source engine i couldnt believe my eyes when i saw this beutiful masterpiece you people are source engine gods!
