We're never going to do a multiplayer add on sorry. I thought it was pretty decent of Parrot to give us his uniform and many OSP props so mentioning it to the people interested would be a nice thing to do.
If you don't care for the news, be polite and don't post in the comment section.
Congratulations on release Parrot, you and Will did a great job.
We're looking into that, we're considering creating unique uniform styles with a default colour that can be easily modded and replaced.
Try one of the older Red Wars releases.
Though Swadia also has Prussian influences alongside the Austrian ones.
Scenes wise they'll be living in a more rural baroque area compared to the up market Vienna-esqe cities of Swadia.
It's a big world yes, It is a mixed bag though as we're still doing a lot of scene work with those cities, villages and factions.
We're happy to accept anyone who knows their stuff with Warband scene stuff to help us now. Just send an example of your work to wildtexan on Mod DB.
When it is ready.
Unless anyone out there is willing to hire onewildtexan to do this in real time instead of doing his job :p
Oh, FYI to anyone in the same line of thought now Red Wars is currently OSP for anyone who wants this sort of setting or just after and think they can give Warband modding a go.
We were actually around way before Red Wars, we were developing the module before this one before L'Aigle was released too.
Already a mod that does that, and even with musket level modern firearms things really do get a little janky combat wise.
We're happy with our early and mid 19th century setting with both modules. It's a barely touched niche.
We've just posted a quick video overviewing the map for those asking about the map size now.
The vanilla scenes really wouldn't fit the tone of the module as well, just be patient. Bannerlord isn't coming out to 2017.
Thank you, we're trying our best but distractions and work commitments are always annoying!
Well, I'm thinking a combination of Sioux, Cheyanne with some Westernised frontier stylings. It's all a work in progress though as we really cannot add anymore factions as we'd need to make scenes from them and extend the development time further.
You can only do so much with the Warband engine and some suggestions won't actually be possible to script or code, we're adding new resources and some mechanics with the trading side of things to simulate some form of the Industrial Revolution.
We're not going to stick barely technologically inferior armed tribals for players to play around as this is a)unsporting and b)kind of offensive.
We are considering in the distant future some factions based on North African, Indian and Central/South African states but like I mentioned in the FAQ we're using history as an influence and not a general source.
And no, we're not including slavery or any elements like that. Canon wise slavery is long over.
This is why this module is taking an age, we're dedicated to scener quality.
Don't get me wrong, your doing okay but we need a dude texan level to literally the other half of the module.
Unless we get a quality level scener with a lot of free time you sadly may have to wait.
It's ahistorical following our fictional 18th and 19th century timeline.
It'll be out when the scenes are done really.
Our development is slow but gradual. We're just knocking out some code stuff, the scene stuff is taking a while due to the factions.
We'd rather get the scenes done, push out some content or one or two new factions after a few patches and then call it on the project.
I strongly suggest you be patient, we're working as hard as we can to get this thing going.
No date for the time being. A lot of scenes still to do.
Since the creators couldn't make up their mind reguarding such things before the mod was discontinued we never really agreed on a merged lore.
I usually like to be a little more creative when it comes to writing lore anyway.
Basically onewildtexan is tackling the siege issue like this.
On Calradia, aside from a handful of large to medium sized fortresses most fighting will be done behind L'Aigle style redoubts, fletches or urban fighting in the streets behind barricades. The latter is very AI mesh friendly.
The Asian continent will rely mostly on more tradtional wall based assaults.
Balion will a combination of both with a huge amount of medium stockade and improvised style fortresses.
Sadly too advanced for the Warband engine to dump during a siege sort of scene setting.
Calm down, it is just the shaders.
Though in this game if the player wishes they can make a black Kaiser. It requires a lot of...social engineering and politics.
For those curious, Count Bloenstein and Colonel Sumarov funded these shops who will be my media characters for preview videos soon.
The Khergit no longer exist, in Imperial Age they split up and were wiped out and replaced with their descendents a very different style of horse nomadic step people.
Those guys exist as NPC's and possible factional revival choice down the line.
