Please keep up the good work, I'd love to see this mod tidied up and even perhaps have vehicles added to the thing.

I think this mod is a more interesting concept than the WW1 one now said mod has gone real world.

Odd, I thought the Blood & Steel version had some in it, Frenzied showed me some when worked on this briefly and they looked pretty good.

If anyone wants to continue this style/setting of a Warband mod feel free and go ahead.

Well that answers that question for good then.

I doubt he wants or has the patience to deal with the awkward baggage that comes with Warband multiplayer.

Plus with the limited time he has it is logical to keep filling in the gaps and moving the project out of beta.

Check the screenshots, we have had a faction like that baised on the Sarranids since pre-conception and the earlier version of the mod.

We have a set of new goods and we might even tweak the scenes with the business to give off a more industrial revolution vibe if we have time.

1: They are modernised to an extent but some factions are more advanced higher up whilst others are a combination of fedual and modern.
2: An entire faction is completely unmodernised.
3: Needle Guns are not bolt actions.

That would go against the whole psuedo-fantasy setting we're using now.

Uh, we have a small secondary German faction like Prussia if that is what you are hinting.

Jokes aside, Zendar really doesn't fit into our own mods canon.

Like I said, we'll make sure cavalry is not useless considering the amount of time and resources we're putting into models and gear for them.

The faster firing breach loaders are for high tier soldiers, elites and expensive mercenaries. Half the time you'll be facing soldiers armed with slower firing percussion caps. So chill.

We will be done when it is done. It will be a mostly complete unbuggy mod. We will do a few patches and content releases.

I cannot say when, progress is being made.

You seem to getting in a slight tizzy over this. I assure you cav will have some use in the mod.

Charging head first into guys armed with modern guns will always be a bad idea.

Chances are it will be around 3-4 seconds long.

Not that loading time really matters as you'll die in one or two shots unless your a high leveled character.

I'm sorry to tell you but any modern warfare mod fundementally doesn't work with the Warband engine and your just going to be always frustrated with whatever is done outside the usual swords and crossbows thing.

Because of how map sizes, balance and damage values work is it close to impossible getting it all right.

I also believe some of the stuff in Blood & Iron was done for multiplayer balance reasons. I helped beta test it and I am a friend of the developer.

We'd be done much quicker if we could get a second experienced scener.

Maybe a sort of super expensive elite player item? we're sort of going for a mid Victorian era look and feel.

We're looking at such a system already long in development.

It'll happen considering you can already fast travel between ports.

We cannot, we are considering a beta release if we can get around 70% of the scenes done in total. Just be patient.

Yes, we'll have a huge variety of both military and civilian clothing from the era you can purchase and wear freely.

we're making it so you can create regiments that you can dress up just as pretty.

This is an engine limitation we cannot fix, as we do not have the time to model five colours of the same flat hair style to the 70 or more hats we have. I'm afraid you'll have to live with this.
