Hello fans and watchers of the Red Wars! I am proud to announce that we will be having official multiplayer support for the Red Wars!
It will be limited at first however, the only factions will be the Vaegirs and Swadians but soon we will have more faction support including Balion and Helvetia. There also is not gonna be a lot of new maps at first either, but If any community members want to make some maps with 1.4 send me the scnobj at email@example.com and I will check it out and probably add it.
In regards to servers, the official one will be run by the Men of Valour community, I was going to ask the Prussian army, but MOV was more fun to hang out with than those squares. Though they are based in Oceania, their servers are really high quality and you should have no problems connecting to them.
In testing the multiplayer, I found it played similarly to iron europe, but much more fast paced and a focus on medium range combat instead of cross map sniping.
When it's released in a few weeks, I encourage you all to play the multiplayer once in a while, so it doesn't practically die like iron Europe did.
Also, we will still continue actively developing single player. I know this is what got a lot of few hooked on this mod, and we will not forget about you.
Anyhow, the future is looking exciting, we recently recruited a skilled 3rd artist, so you will be seeing some cool shit from him soon.
