Eagerly awaiting updates in that case.

Although, it might seem more thematically consistent if the Mammoth Tank and Colossus switched places (cosmetically).

Not sure where you'd glue the mini-guns on the Mammoth though.

I was a little confused by the Mortar Pod upgrade as well, but I think it's just an upgrade for the missiles and doesn't actually add a new weapon. The description reminds me of the Fragmentation Shards upgrade from WC3.

If this gets the Reckoner ability, he'd have to drop the weapons entirely. A 3 slot bunker with missiles is kind of intense...and then it's straight up a Reckoner knock-off.

As was prophesied in the ancient texts along side the rise of the Flame Tank!

Seriously, it looks great and I think the dimensions are perfect.

Compounded damage upgrades and infantry crushing, a very threatening transport indeed.

Floater + Hind? Good.

I was expecting Chinooks/other Helicopters and then maybe Floaters as a support power as well...they were just so chaotic and destructive in TS.

I think everyone expected that, though. That makes the Helicopters too obvious of a choice. That's exactly what they had in the last game and I'm pretty sure Carnius is going for something more interesting than just the "mutants in crap Mad-Max style vehicles" thing. I can see the idea of having the Forgotten interact with and understand the Tiberium fauna in a sort of wild, symbiotic way. That they should have an understanding of Tiberium unique to them and a way of utilizing it unique to them. I don't think there was any indication that Scrin have any interest in mutant lifeforms...but I might have missed something.

The floaters could have evolved since Firestorm, that much could be justified.

At any rate, the Floater "Pit" and the Floater Gunship Thing look great.

I'd like to use it in-game before people decide to dismiss it. See how it feels after some use...

I was really hoping for the floaters to come back. This is great!

The only thing missing is the Hunter Seeker drone, lol.

Interesting angle you've been taking on the designs of the last couple units by the way.

..and lo the prophecy was fulfilled! A Mutant Flamer!

No expansion point? Actually, try adjusting your graphics settings, the Tacitus Archive doesn't seem to render with certain settings.

Question, the main menu when a BSG race is loaded looks sorta jumbled and broken, is that a common problem?

I write a batch file with the directory and -Modconfig parameters and then convert it into a dummy CNC3.exe. Launch it from that in Gameranger and presto circumvento.

There's probably an easier way, but I don't know of it XD

Oh, no I wasn't suggesting that. I meant any sort of pre-CnC3 era vehicle that could have existed. That includes tractors and pick-ups and so forth. I wouldn't want "GDI 1995-Now with Tiberium Weapons!" either.

I just pitched the flame tank, specifically the flame tank because of 1) nostalgia and 2) it's stream mode of delivery.

There's definitely a lot of potential clear-garrison methods, but acid, chemical mixes, or straight Tiberium may differ effect-wise, but it doesn't really necessitate different delivery systems.

All in all, you're right, it's a blatant rehash on what is a faction distinguishing role.

It's just a damn sexy tank. Don't hate me for loving it XD

Actually, while we're on it. Has anyone given thought to an aerial clear-garrison unit?

Every Forgotten unit so far as used something antiquated as a base unit, so I'm not necessarily suggesting it served vanilla.

As far as the clear-garrison delivery systems go, the established ones are: Disks, Buzzers, Flame, Tiberium explosives/mortar (which are all in-game), and Liquid/Tiberium Flame, Grenades (both of which are no longer in-game). And I suppose Tiberium Gas would work like someone else mentioned.

Just alternatives to the Pitbull. But as much as I never was a fan of the Pitbull, its Mars Rover kind of build really does fit in...

TD/Renegade/Vanilla CnC3 Flame-Tank for muties? With Tiberium laced flame, since the Corruptor and Toxin Troopers are no longer occupying that niche.

That's right, I forgot the corruptor doesn't use a "flame" anymore. Personally, since the TD Flame Tank in TS, I can't shake the notion of having a Tiberium laced Renegade Flame Tank added to The Forgotten's arsenal.

Four guns on a medium tank. The most believable use would be area of effect. Four light barrels as opposed to four barrels of the original tank on a chassis designed for one. That's just my view of it. Still pretty great though.

More idea stuff. What about... Shield-Bearing Grenadiers? That could be combined with other infantry squads to improve their survivability. Shields made from old GDI armor plating and tiberium pipe bomb sort of projectiles.

2. I don't know if this outside of the scope of what you want reflected in this mod, but what about some of the Nod vehicle designs from Renegade? There must be a handful of those laying around. I was always just sort of partial to those.

3. What about some armored shuttering on the Wardozer and Technical? Those are some awfully exposed windshields..

Also. Pretty excited for this update. Top 3 mods for sure.

On the APC's, the mutant hovel units seem more like the Multi-Role Bonus Tacitus Archive units rather than normal faction units.

There's a few choices to consider, like the Armored Buses from the TS campaign, the GLA bus, or some derivation of the Reckoner (as Starfox said). People have said there are issues implementing these (multiple units, not just the reckoner), but in other cases they have been done successfully.

And I'm sure an AI is in the future :) That would make random faction comp stomping matches pretty disappointing otherwise lol

What about Mass Subterranean Tiberium Vein Detonation?
The control structure could be some sort of cross between a Waste Facility and fracking stations.
It'd be a super-weapon that attacked from below.

Unless you already stated that. I wasn't sure what to make of "build only on killed Veinhole geyser".

I mean, just look at it.

Really should just research real life examples of homemade tanks and such. Some very impressive stuff.
