This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

It'd be neat if the Forgotten acquired original blueprints for the weather storm device from RA2 erra, and found a way to turn it to control Tiberium (and maybe storms as well). The red alert universe is somewhat connected to the tiberium universe, so it'd make sense if the forgotten found some very old equipment.

It remembers me the Tacitus Storm. This could be implemented as support power that does damage and creates a no fly zone. For the superweapon I warmly suggest the Tiberium vein detonation that creates an earthquake.

RA2 never happened in the Tiberium timeline ;)
It went RA1 -> Tib Dawn -> Tib Sun -> Tib Wars

Still, it's entirely possible that the Forgotten, with their unique connection to Tiberium as well as their access to the Tacitus, managed to invent similar technology to create ion storms.

Thanks for the correction. I just remembered that Kane was somehow in ra1, and that the unreleased Renegade 2 was about after RA2 the soviets turning into the brotherhood of NOD, but since it wasn't finished or made at all I guess it doesn't count.

Something like Ion Storms in Tiberian sun era would be cool.

An Ion Storm Generator would make a good super weapon for them.

It's a little close to what Scrin uses. The campaign suggests that controlled ion storms were a completely new form of weapon when the Scrin invaded.

They can always steal it, just like everything else. :-P

It would be very unlikely for a scrapyard faction to commandeer and successfully replicate extremely advanced alien technology, specially because they are the lower tech faction on their own world.

It looks awesome, but I don't think you'd be able to give a new and interesting delivery method for a blue tiberium bomb.

I think if blue tiberium was carpet dropped into an area and then detonated, that'd be a neat delivery method, but I don't think it'd generate an explosion like that.

I imagine a giant chunk of blue Tiberium with a bunch of old tech rockets strapped to it, maybe with more rockets fired afterward, with the big chunk of blue Tiberium crashing into the target location, then getting hit with the followup missiles and detonating.

Why not just detonate the chunk itself?
Sure, it needs an energetic enough starter, but if you're already doing it...

I just feel like it was established that larger formations tend to be more stable, hence the vinifera "trees" that were able to produce more tiberium even when the field had detonated.

I'm assuming the vinifera monoliths won't be what you're tossing about in any case. Or it could just be that those were composed of too many crystals to have all go boom, but the TE one is a single crystal so Idunno.

I'm honestly having trouble thinking of a weapon that would make sense within Forgotten delivery capabilities.
*shudder* I'm honestly thinking of a Scud Storm with blue tiberium cluster warheads at the moment. (Mechanics wise, that is, not proposing they use 100 year old missiles)

How about Cruentus (red) tiberium? It would look more varied, since Vinifera weaponry are going to be a commonplace upgrade in the gameplay, and it would give that OHFUCKRUNFORYOURLIVES feeling since Cruentus is a much, much more powerful and rare strain of tiberium? More fitting for a base-erasing superweapon IMO.

Depends on whether Carnius is up for implementing it. Don't Cruentus was ever canon.

It was widely considered to exist in the universe as an extreme rarity, it had an appearance in Firestorm as a single recolored blue tiberium formation and was later used in C&C 4 for the research mechanic.

Oooooh! The orange monolith in the Tratos mission, right?
And I didn't know about the other due to...well, you know damn ******* well why! :P

In that case, assuming it was the type of crystal that was happy/content to grow in poor environments, and choked out in the richer ones by the time it appeared; How much sense would it make to toss a cluster at a target area and have it flash-grow before making it blow?

Though, it's kind of a shaky concept...plain old red tib bomb?

I don't think C&C 4 would have been considered so terrible if they had just called it what it was: A C&C themed MOBA designed by fisher price.
Also would have helped if it wasn't made according to a survey sent out to people who just bought Kane's Wrath.

So, Cruentus and Aboreus were present in the TS game files(As in the code, not actual .shps), but never saw the light of day, and this led to a lot of fan speculation on the topic, even whether it would be red or yellow, possibly even orange. As I recall, cruentus itself would have been unharvestable due to a lack of efficient industrial processing.

I thought you're re-creating a weather control support power for The Forgotten, Carnius.

Carnius, if you will combine Tiberium and RA series, can you give some soviet units to nod? Such as Tesla and heavy tanks?

Description

New fx for the forgotten. Superweapon or support power, I´m not decided yet, but its going to be huge blue tiberium explosion or lightning storm (RA2 style with something extra.
