Well in this update they only showed what you can get for the GLA by picking up T1 salvage not T2 so that could still be a possibility
don't forget the flames shooting out of the exhaust pipes on the sides
I would be surprised if you couldn't still pick up normal crates and from what I've heard to make the recycler mechanic they had to make a huge number of new models which is probably the reason it took so long to get in-game
