Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
And finally, Technicals can also be upgraded with canister cannons which, like the Quad Cannon, give them a very notable splash damage effect while reducing their punch against armored targets.
These models look a bit strange... why does the smallest gun have the thickest support while the biggest gun the thinnest support?
The vehicle models are randomly chosen by the game, the upgrade on the guns however aren't
So, the mounting itself is part of the vehicle model? That sounds kind of backwards. Though, I guess the engine probably expects the gun to move, which might lead to...things.
Consider that, those cannons are salvage upgrades themselves.
Standard Canister Cannon, Heavy Canister Cannon ,and Double Canister Cannon.
My guess would be that all three supports are the same, but the far one looks thinner because of the distance or angle.
This. Both, angle and distance make it appear thinner.
Since the Technical has two upgrades, I been meaning to ask - are the upgrades mutually exclusive, or can they be mixed?
there can only be one recycler upgrade per unit
Is that made by tier 1 european?
I wouldn't want to be the driver of the first technical.
Not as bad a driver's position as on these things, though.

Instant headshot!
Isn't there like a few more versions of the technical?
there are but they aren't shown
At least two or three more. But there's little reason to show them all when there's only three different weapons in the spotlight.
That's how you are...
