This mod really surprised me. Nicely crafted and beautiful out of the ordinary story. 100% worth playing...just make sure you install the hotfix upgrade too!

Tried it again today. Strangely this time i was properly given a shooter depending on opponent. Nothing missing, no bugs or errors. Could just fire away...

Tried a fight in the arena, so first time i had only a few basic things in inventory and a handgun but nothing else, and the rest was removed. Second fight i have nothing to shoot with, also nothing lying on the ground, nothing held in my hand. Only few basic things like bandages and food. Anyway messing around with spawnmenu is also fun so ill try that (even when its cheating) Good spawn Stalker!!!

Thanks that helped a lot. It was indeed the flashlight battery lol. Do you know where to edit flashlight settings like beam distance and brightness etc?

Another question is that if its known when there is an updated winter pack or even different seasons mod? Thinking out loud here, would be awesome if for example there is snow on the ground and you can see your footsteps!

Does this mod have a database unpacker somewhere?
(ps...noticed when you fight in the arena, the second time there's no weapon anywhere to be found)

Cool mod. Works reasonable well and fairly stable. Nice you can play it without the need for original Stalker to be installed. Easy modding as well increasing play fun. Noticed that there are no prices of all items in trade LTX files of gamedata folder. Where can i find these? Not an easy mod, dark and gloomy atmosphere most of the time so want to adjust price of glowsticks or torch a little. Maybe there is a way to make torch beam a little brighter or wider? Headlamp doesn't seem to work and only flickering weakly? Is there a fix for that? Is this mod still being updated?

So many nice STALKER mods for free. Most are not easy but once you have found your way and know how to play and what to do it can be a lot of fun. If you love Stalker mods and have played some, you enjoy finding your route all over again in bigger and different maps, experience funny twists with old and new quests than you should for sure also try stalker LOST ALPHA latest version. It worked. Fill in full path name to gamedata.db0 but without the file name.

Fill in full output path to the folder you have created already.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Alpha DC 1.4007 such a huge, great and beautiful game. If you play this one first than the original stalker game(s) will feel limited and small. Played LA before and played it again years later, still awsome and much more stable now. Make sure you update to latest version.

Version 0.98b (with bugfixes) is crashing often. Is there an update in the pipeline? What are the best addons for stability?

Could not get Wind of Time with Patch-1 to work. It gives x-ray engine error.
However i was able to play all of it without the patch. If you like Stalker its definitely worth your time. Just restart the game if there's a crash.

Yes, X-ray 1.6 Engine has stopped working crash after patching...

Does anybody know why "living legend - first strike" does not start?
Got the X8 documents from the lab, went back to Strelok and said "done everything you wanted"
and previous quest "top secret" was completed, but no matter what i do there is no option
"i,m ready" that should start first strike?! Anybody?
