Yea I think the problem is this. When the Marine Frigate tries to board an enemy vessel it causes an error due to the squadron. It worked fine when I boarded solitary capital ships. When i tried to board other Frigates or squad capital ships though it crashed.

This is a nice map but the sun causes my computer to lag when facing it. Still pretty good and fun. Although I would prefer if things were broken down like the following.

Have an Earth Moon system, maybe an Earth to Mars with the Asteroid Belt included? Then have the Jovian System, Saturn System, etc.

Make the sun just be a light. For the Gas Giants you could put them in the back ground and just have the moons in the map. That would be a lot easier and more realistic.

Um I don't know if you are still having problems on the Highcommand game type. If you have figured it out forgive me.

It always crashed for me when I tried to capture an enemy vessel. So maybe you could re-purpose the Marine and Infiltrator Frigates into some other role. Perhaps make the Marine Frigate lower enemy fire accuracy and improve friendly combat.

Make the Vayger Infiltrator Frigate into a Support Frigate by increasing self repair. Add a sensors distortion as well. Just a suggestion. I am sure you could figure out your own plans for it. Thank you for taking the time to make this mod.

2: Open Unfbig.exe. Then extract the .big

3: Delete shaders folder

4: recompile big

5: ???

Anyway... I love this mod. The build and research trees were a pain to figure out though. I had to use trial and error. lol

Oh the CPU AI only builds the new ship classes when it plays as the vanilla races. I would like that fixed so it uses more variety then that.

This mod is good. Would it be possible to remove the suns from the planet levels though? They make my computer lag...

Other than that this is great. Maybe you could talk to the HW@ mod developers about borrowing some of their ships. The Vayger Destroyer they have is pretty cool. Another suggestion would be to add the Taiidan but with newer ships. Like you could redo them to make them more modernized. That is if you are into modeling and such. If not then it is not needed but would be a nice addition.

I would mod but it never seems to work for me. I can change things fine but if I try to add a new ship it just crashes. So how has your work been going? Got any new ideas for the mod?

Exelent mod. I would like you to give a release once you finish the races. That would be better than making us wait for the campaign.I have seen quite a few mods die, due to issues with the production of a custom campaign. thank you for the effort you have placed into this mod so far.

You could animate the portal within the boundry, so that it has a rippling effect. That would be cool. If you want to make the ship accelerate into the gate you could try to get in touch with he stargate space conflict team. the new one has the ships flying into hyperspace.

I would like you to keep the Hiigarans and Vayger. I like to play as the hiigarans against the wraith. If you chose to remove them I would like it if you could add a second release with the Hiigaran/Vayger still in game.

This is a good mod. If you are taking requests for your next project I think making a mod about the Humans invading the galaxy.

you could make the humans use devastating weapons but have fragile ships to compensate. Alternatively the ships could be flying fortresses armed with nukes and such but cost a lot. that would be good making the terran forces take time to get their forces up an running.

Hey I tried this mod and it crashes no matter what race i chose. I have set the race thing to chose above and I have v1.1 of the game. My computer cannot run CNL-Peppers shaders so if your mod has that then that is the reason. If not I have no clue. I can run ovlivion without problem on my computer

An ion beam could damage the hull. it is basicaly a linier particle projecter. it works by using magnetic fields to propell a stream of ionic particles at near ligth speed. the kinetic energy from those particles is able to eat through the target ship's hull it would also become a plasma.

lightning can only form in an atmosphere, or in a dust cloud, or nebula. in the empty space there are not enough particles to transfer the charge.

one of the reasons it crashes for a few people is because their video card can't handle the shaders. that was my problem, but I fixed it by using a .big extractor and removing the shaders folder. it isn't as pretty but it works for me at least.

hey the shaders won't work with my video card so the game crashes. my .Big Extractor unfbig.exe won't extract the file completly. do you know where I could get a better .Big extractor so I could remove the Shaders?

oh it's just the plasma beams like splash alot when they hit a target and that slows the game down a bit. the large ships might be too high poly as well. I'm not sure.

you do make good mods though the slow down was only minor in BF mini mod. I thought you should know this issue though so if you wanted to do somthing you could. My computer might just be retarded.

hey good mods so far. maybe you could make lower spec versions cuz the free space races you added in previous mods kind of lagged when I got a good sized fleet. the plasma beams were the most laggy besides the larger capital ships. I have a 2.5 GH CPU 2 GIG RAM lap top bought last year.

I like this. maybe you could add rapid fire ion cannons along the perimiter of the edge of the flat end of the dome for anti fighter duty and add four anti capship ions on the front and one in the back and give them two different colors depending on the strengh of the beam. give them both 45 degree targeting angles so they can hit enemy ships better.

great mod although the unit caps could be larger. also I would like the starting resources to be at about 20'000 for large or maybe 50'000. also are you planning on adding any other races? like maybe an alliance of races that uses several ships from the Taiidan, bentusi, and Kedesh? like make the Bentusi special ships you have to build a special module for that costs alot or somthing.

Another Idea is to make all fighters launch missiles like modern jets do because it is not logical for the fighters to use guns. why go from missiles back to guns in air combat ya know?

PS great mods. maybe you could make a mod with a race that is more advanced then the HW races. make ships frigate and smaller about twice as tough and powerful. then make the capital ships ten times more powerful but cost alot and take a while to build.
