I found out what was happening I decided to make my leader and his stats. As the almari if you do this at age 50 something they will be seen as old and the regent will take over

My character is status is away. looking at the wiki it says the only time characters are away status is if they are on pilgrimage or crusade. Something every game I play I end up in this away status and the regent taking over.

Excellent mod! ACM 2.4 rocks I think the reason why in ACM 2.4 the rebels were given mediators and the imperials still had star destroyers was balance(match play). If the later was a bug...dam it would have been over powered. All of the Imperial ships and fighters are way better than anything the rebels can make not so much for consortium. I was hoping the guy would update 2.4 but never happened. the only thing I think 2.4 needed was balancing if they balanced the fighters they may not have had a need for mediator but MC 90s instead. If the fighters were not so mismatched in fire power between factions and over powered overall. I can understand imperial ships having superior fire power but their fighters as well is just too good. Both consortium and alliance fighters last tier class need to be equal to the empires best. As for absolute chaos the extra ships are awesome. In solo match the tier 2 and 3 added ships really make sense for each faction. Again in this mod the fighters are too powerful. 1 tie defender can strip the shields off a capital ship. Most of the imperial ships have increased fire power to weapons... they already have superior fire power, where is the counter for this for rebels and consortium. Playing all 3 factions I found: the imperials were the easiest to play followed by consortium followed by the rebels. Overall this is a dam good mod in visuals and play but balancing is needed to make you want to choose to play the other factions. I can clearly say without question in a multiplier map I would not choose to play as rebels.

i cant get it to work. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king\lotrbfme2ep1.exe -mod "C:\The Horse Lords" is invaild.

I followed the instructions its in C: The Horse Lords folder

i cant make a short cut for this to launch. the game default will pull up 2.02 only. the game does not recognize this location as valid.

After playing the mod now for sometime. I can say the mod is very good. The amount of work that has been put into it is definitely there. The ONLY thing i can see is balance. You put a lot of work on the imperial branch which is not a good thing if you play rebels. I played all of the factions to find the Trector Class Star Destroyer is VERY OVERPOWERED of all the ship in the game. It takes 4 MC90 to take on 1 Trector Destroyer on Normal skirmish mode. If your wondering why I choose the MC90's other than the endurance or nebula class is because the 90 actual outlast the other two ships and they are cheaper. Its a smack down when you go against a Trector SD even one of them. The Endurance and Nebula star destroyer are just horrible in durability and damage. The price of the endurance and what you get out the ship you'd do better off making its fighters.
There also a bug in skirmish playing rebel faction where only 1 ackbar can be summoned in a dual player match. Trying to summon 2 will cancel out the other summon. Rebel ground units have less range than any other faction. NO portable shield generators to counter the less range, damage and durability. You have to stack t4b tanks to take on walkers half of them will be dead before you get in firing range.

I'm guess I'm the only person that plays rebel faction on this mod to have noticed this. I also notice rebels can not build mobile shield generators. If rebels have less fire power and less range than other faction they should at least be able to have those. My opinion is that its unbalanced for rebel faction.

I have a couple of questions to ask you.
1. did you have any other mods on your computer for this game prior.
2. is your virus scan blocking the installation.
3. is this a steam version or a disk. if its steam you have to enter this as the mod path sweaw MODPATH=Mods\Imperial_Civil_War.
4. Have you played other mods like this one.
Most importantly if you had other mods in your mods folder its best to do a clean install of the game (delete your mods folders before install).

Playing in skirmish mode as rebels. Only 1 admiral ackbar can be in play if you are about to summon him and your npc partner chooses to do so as well. Your summon is cancelled you loose the resources and your npc partner get to summon him while the npc opponent can have two of every hero.

rebel ground units have 40% less the range of other faction units. The long distance turret mobile units for rebels are just PATHETIC, empire tanks can out range them! 1 empire walkers can take take out 3 tanks alone and it has longer range.

is there a map in which all the factions are even when it comes to ships they a can make or have an even start. the hardest map i ever played was rebels and I had to take coursant with a fleet of Monclair crusiers and everyone else had far better ships.

Feedback

1. stone gold silver team need some description as to what they are under the world spells.
2. building need to be scaled back to damage taken almost to vanilla status. You have got super fortresses with high hit point and resistance, so melee is out of the question especially for the elves. Only the ENTS could do building damage.
3. I think the extra spawn around the bases could be the culprit to lag. there are a lot of animals and people running around, they are also generating wealth. I like how your thinking but i don't think this game maybe able to do this well.
4. graphical improvement are needed.

Everything works with this mod, it provides that late game challenge when you assault the NPC base, from looking at the bases. I've yet to get to actually taking one out clearly the game does a better job at defending itself. Its just too much lag at the end game. My thoughts are it has to do with the extra around the bases. If it were my mod id remove that and go back to basic or put in a few graphic like stationary people, animals or troops and increase values of mines to make up the difference. What I would do is cheat a little I would looked at the unofficial patch 202 and see how they are able to get AMAZING graphics, unfortunately that is all that mod offers. They put no thought into developing it beyond standard.
Yep i would use their game design as a base and make to my taste... sounds like edain...sshhhhh.
I like the freedom of play that this mod offers, its different than Edain (edain is a good mod don't get me wrong) its just a structured game play with their maps, i don't like that. The amount of heroes this game is excellent but real portraits would be a touch of class.

after playing the mod this is what I think. Good everything did what it was suppose to do. I did not see any errors. world powers description could have been better. Your like what does this power do. The main problems is their too much of a good thing going on. by late game the game slows down to a crawl you cant even play it even on very low graphics. I have a 970 graphic card with 12 gigs of memory so this game should not have been a problem to play. the building are made very well the only way to destroy them is with seige melee is out of the question. I got quite the laugh when all 5 of my heros took FOREVER to destroy a mine.
