Solved the problem. Clicked off the auto-send message prompt, and waited for it to load. Problem solved.
The issue is the same with Men of War & Assault Squad 2.
I have the same issue. Would very much like to find a solution.
Maybe don't be a **** about the mod being released and just patiently wait for devs to get it out after real life permits?
If you want to game you should consider the complications that come with purchasing a Mac.
Your argument is invalid. It's a free mod.
Lots of us were eagerly expecting it - and lots of us are also patient and assumed they had more important and pressing concerns. Some of us have watched this mod since it was released on ModDB - a few weeks or months is nothing. Please just be patient.
You do realize they have larger priorities than satisfying the whims of those who enjoy the mod?
While star bases do have issues...the fighter/bomber compliments on them work just fine. Did you build fighter modules, or accidentally dock all of them?
That was quite possibly the most epic game of DOTR/Sins ever.
Fighting both of you across four systems at the same time with Cerberus and the Council chasing me among the stars was so much fun it should almost be illegal.
This new release shows so much improvement. Absolutely solid. Massive congrats are in order for the DOTR team for the tremendous job they've done.
Just ignore the guy, and let the down voting commence.
I won't rehash what Hackett and Kyle have already said. Instead, I'll just provide you with this friendly reminder.
Can we dislike Onytoytoy's comments some more so they don't show up? Only need a few more, guys.
Yes, but scout ships had the capacity to utterly destroy game play in MP.
It'd be more helpful if you offered actual examples of, again:
How many AI?
Which AI?
Exactly how big was the map - was it a multi-star map, a single star map, and how many planets?
Unfortunately, with Sins it doesn't matter how fantastic your PC is. That was a design flaw in the game that's existed forever.
I'd recommend using the Squad Reduction mod - it helps.
Large amounts of ships in game will ultimately cause lag. Your 203 ships are not he only vessels in game - consider all trade/refinery and AI vessels.
I've got to disagree with your assertion that there are performance issues with this version. It runs, in the very strange words of my Irish bartender, "as snug as a bug in the rug" - which is apparently Irish for "fantastic".
Please provide a bit more info, and try the suggestions of morris90 and myself. I'd love to help you get it running well, but we need more info to figure out what the problem is.
It was a foolish question to begin with - considering the file itself is labeled "Pre-Alpha".
Gotta love how you have no problem with the violent warfare...yet you can't handle the blood and profanity...
Considering hosting a match this evening. If you're interested message me on steam: HappyTex
Absolutely outstanding music scores. Keep up the exceptional work.
The distance to Andromeda, our closest neighboring galaxy, is 2.5 million light years...highly doubtful Reapers were involved in anything other than the Milky Way.
Yes. You didn't change the map setting to non-random start locations.
It takes a while to build...it's a big ship.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, as I'm just getting up and have absolutely zero coffee in me, but it looked like at the end that it *was* building. It should automatically begin construction of the cap if you have both resources + research - which you did. You don't create the supercaps as you would say, a regular cap ship or cruiser.
I'm curious though, but did you wait for a bit after the end of the video? As I said, it looked like it *was* building it, and I'm just curious if it did - and thus you've solved your question.
