Zimbaly, I was running HL2 on the lowest settings on my old computer. That computer could barely handle the ORIGINAL HL. The minimum requirements Valve gave were actually higher than the truth. Your incompetence is no excuse to come and flame the game, especially not on a modding site.

Second. Video Games are luxuries, don't complain about them... ever. If you bought a game and are unsatisfied then perhaps you should have not bought the game. Try waiting a few weeks and reading reviews. But complaining about a luxury.. to me at least.. seems quite like something a spoiled little kid would do.

Finally:
This game is worth every penny if you're looking for a fun action game with one of the best storylines you'll find in a video game. The additional episodes also bring some exciting new enemies and inventive gameplay. The combination of puzzle solving, physics, action and story truly makes this game a masterpiece in the world of FPS.

BTW, I feel grenade launchers would be fine in the game, just supply very limited ammunition, and a long blast delay, (5-10 seconds).

That wasn't the light problem I meant. The lighting used in the map is very unnatural, even with the flashlight, the lighting around the flashlight looks very bad.

Loved every minute of it.
Pros: Level Design is frankly better than any used in any valve-made product. Wonderful scripting, detailed brushwork and great placement of props. The battles are intense and force you to use strategy. The puzzles are well placed, and not too difficult.

Cons: The story truly needs work, though I won't judge until the mod is finished. For the amount of effort put into this mod, I really believe the creators are able of creating a thicker storyline.

Overall one of the best mods for HL2 out there. Worth playing on every note. Until every episode is finished, I'll lay off the vote though. If not for the storyline, I'd say it's a 10.

A very well-made mod, I enjoyed it.

Pros: New interface, made use of a lot of the combine tools, such as shock-bar. All of the additions making you feel like a combine soldier were very nice touches. Level design was decent and the story was also. I loved the music. The black scenes were nice touches as well.

Cons: I didn't like the placing of the music, it feeled out of place, I found myself hearing music when getting attacked by a couple headcrabs, and none when fighting off a ton of them in a hallway to open a door. The level design, while well done, seemed like it was below the designers' ability. Stairs looked bare, the city had black models while there was clearly enough light to see them. I just felt a lot of things should have, and still should be edited and touched up. It seems as if each map was finished and uploaded and not looked over (though I'm sure this was not the case).

All in all, I enjoyed it, and despite my ravings on it's bad parts, I played the whole thing. Good job guys, and I'm looking forward to the sequel.

I like the description, useable manhacks seems like an excellent addition, and I'm sure you will find some more things to add as you create it xD. I'd personally like a strider scene. I'm putting this on watch, keep up the good work guys!

If he's not from England or America then he should not be making an English mod... or should learn the English language a bit better, btw, there are other countries that speak english.

Half-Life 2 is the perfect mix of all 3 of these if you ask me. It has plenty of ruthless shooting, tough puzzles tossed in here and there, and can be a very tactical shooter when fighting the combine.

Looks like a decent mod, I'll have to try the hl1 version sometime. Source version sounds like a good idea.. GL guys.

I really enjoyed this mod.

Pros: Gameplay is excellent, some of the best firefights i've had in a HL2 mod. I especially enjoyed the antlion part. Storyline was great for a mod that only used the original sounds. The alternate endings were a great idea, and well implemented.

Cons: As far as gameplay goes, none. The level design however had a few spots where the lighting looked very bad, creating some odd shapes on walls and some straight lines, just some things to think about. The brushwork however looked great. Where the wall breaks to get into a room of zombies, I think it would have been nice if it looked a little more realistic. No wall will break in perfectly even boxes.

Overall, I think the rating this mod was given is dead-on, if not a little low. Good job! I look forward to any future mods you create :).

This is one I'm looking forward to trying out, I hope theirs a well-received beta to make for some fun BIG games.

i'll buy it online if it the reasons justify the means. However I do appreciate having a manual... So i voted manual and box
