This looks fantastic! Finally a Jurassic mod that is getting it done ;) I appreciate the work-in-progress state of it, but I would still offer some constructive feedback, if I may:

- Animations on the guns _looks_ unresponsive, and the sound delays on the shotgun (might be the video)
- Dinosaur animations are choppy, although I figure that will come with the polish stage
- I'm guessing some rigs would have some problems with the outside environment due to the translucency maps on all trees and bushes. As we all know, Source has a hard time with loads of these. Casting shadows on each of them using their alpha maps would definitely slow it down. My point: I hope you optimize well! :)

Tracking for sure, and good luck on further development!

Nice stuff, although the textures looks off, especially the beige concrete. Looks low-res almost (notice the lack of AA, is this a grab w/ low res settings? )

Otherwise very nice.

Not quite feeling the lowpoly look to him. Looks out of place, plus the bed next to him looks like it got a higher count

Nice updates!

The transition from climbing a wall, and making it to the top looks quite "fast". A smoother transition might make it look more natural.

Also, while watching it, I started to really notice that the gliding animation is always the same. Thus, maybe also vary that one randomly?
Would help make it more natural.

Looks great! Reminds me veeery much about Worms. But thats a good thing, worms is awesome ;) This looks like a great beginning as well!

But yeah, it seemed quite overpowered. Maybe put some distance between the rockets spawning, so that fewer spawn?

Some great work there! I work like you, by first doing a greyscale shading, and color after. Love the result, great work =)

Looks great as well!

A few things texture wise tho.
The jeans looks a bit too noisy/sharp. Could use some smaller "fibers" in the fabric maybe? Also, the back pockets seems kinda stretched from the UV's. If thats not the case, I would consider changing the pockets. Doesent look too good atm ;)

Great stuff! Looking forward to more!

Looks very good! Proportions are excellent, as far as my study of children's proportions go :P

The sweater could also use a pocket at the belly region. You know those large ones that you can put both hands into from each side. Would be a nice detail addition.

Nice work!

Gotta say that looks great. The animations are well done, both on the weapon and hands, and both looks sharp and excellent as well.
There isnt a HD version is it? Would be easier to look at.

Great stuff though!

Looks good so far, as it's a WIP Im sure some of what I say is to be done, but the image is all I can crit so far ;)

I'm sure you will do something about the beard and the hat. Looks waxy and wet as of now, which it often does when only normals and base albedo and spec is applied. The hat obviously needs texture, as for the face as well.

Good start, keep it up!

looks nice, the texture is indeed looking good. Spice up the building a bit with some trims on the roof (like the comparison image). Break up the boring horizontal silhouette like that.

Garrador Aug 17 2010, 2:04pm says:

The wall brick texture seems rather clean. Some dirt stain decals and a dirt pass on the albedo would make it look much better. Also: the bricks don't line up all the way around, which look somewhat silly.

The comparison isn't really anything. The only thing I can resemble is some house on the left, and trees on the right.

I would model those cool run down balconies. Would add in so much cool detail. As well as those bushes next to the house, and please, do something with that wall end that has been cut a few times in hammer. These are places that need prop models to fill in the good details.
I also miss some trims around the windows. Nothing pops out of the building except those small boring balconies. Add in ventilation, window sills, more detailed and run-down balconies, old interior stuff laying around etc etc. It's too plain atm.

Even though it takes some time to model smaller props such as these, it's worth it. Make the surrounding fence-walls modular models with different end pieces. You could use them anywhere (multiple skins ftw).

edit: also looks like the light bleeds under the balcony. Defeat for low lightmaps..

Looks good so far, but too clean and looks WIP to me.
