Support 2dawn and Ravaged by helping to fund the game!

Posted by on

We need your support! We're trying to develop and publish Ravaged on our own without a publisher telling us what to do and make us push it out the door before it's ready. We've launched a Kickstarter campaign with some cool rewards so check it out and support indie game developers (in this case, us)! Kck.st

You really need more Pledge options with different rewards.

I'm just hoping Kindred is being sarcastic.

I will admit though that the "badge" system never appeals to people like me. Tangible things, like unlocks or maybe even a special in-game weapon or weapon skin matters alot more than something for a forum that we may or may not even use.

I just think supporting the devs is all the motivation required. Don't need any other reward than knowing that they can make the game as awesome as possible because of our financial support.

Nah, If there's anything I like less than badges, it's exclusive in-game items.
Maybe supporters just get an early release, or a poster and a shirt, or (less likely) a physical replica of a weapon/ item in the game.

I understand that, what I'm more in favor is something akin to the weapon skins or early unlocks. I do have to say though for those who can't donate 25 or more, it would be nice if they had more than just beta access. Perhaps you guys could give them a code that decreases the price for purchasing the game new?

I think it's a bit of a bummer that the $15 pledger only gets access to the beta. Would have preferred something similar to wasteland 2 where you can get a standard copy of the full game. I can't afford to give any more than $15, but hey, it's not that big of a deal. Go get em tiger!

You guys should make a news update with some media in it that links to the kickstarter so that it goes to the home page here.

**** you guys. Seriously, you make a Kickstarter campaign so we can get the game we want, then you have to make refences to paid for dlc, when WERE ALREADY GIVING YOU OUR MONEY.

Why the hell would you do that? Are you really just that greedy?

It's different when a small company does it, man.

I cant tell if youre being sarcastic, but Im going to assume youre not.
Its not okay. I am paying for only part of a game. assuming the DLC is 5-10 bucks like most are , thats anywhere from 1/5 (Im okay with that price) to about one half of the price. Hell, if they release multiple DLC packs, you might just end up paying twice the price of the original game.

And for crying out loud, theyre asking US for money so that later we can pay them MORE money for parts of the game they decided to hold off and not release. How is that fair? (its also worth nothing that theyve already reached their goal, with 3k and some change to spare)
