I think the most refreshing thing, was the animation to pick things up.

This looks fantastic, well done on getting a great atmosphere and having your character seemed scared when hurt and scared scared. Also loved the health system.

Do stormtroopers not use hellguns? Yknow the backpack with a cable to the ammo feed ones? (that got overpowered in the last IMP Guard codex)
But hey why shouldn't they use them?

If you want to make your mnarines look really bulky and awesome, then make sure they are really tall. At least two feet taller than a normal (unaugmented human) character. As in the fluff they are about 7 feet tall normally, and taller. Go by the artwork rather than the models I'd say.

Atmosphere was very well done! Look forward to the mod! Especially loved the light coming from the windows in the rooms :)
I like this. Even though Its just a simple animation it shows what could be done.
I have always thought, that marines move with a quickness that belies the fact they are in heavy armour. Does that make sense? From books and source stories they can move quick but I always thought they would move slow but steady with a purpose.
I dont know if that made any sense, but good luck with that animations and rest of the mod :)

Also I agree with Mkilbride, ZP was fun when you all had a gun and ammo to use, but if you plan on having using hl2 zombie ai, please don't make it so they can hit stuff at you... that ruins it for me.
And I agree on picking the mag up, it just makes sense to do it in the game, and I'm sure your talented programmer can make it so. As well as a world model for said magazine.
Also..combat reload for the shotgun? Are you going to add stripper clips to speed it up?

Yeah, it would be fairly simple to add some different type of zeds while keeping them like the Romero classics we all know and love.
Just a few ideas off my head would be:
Armoured: You have to go for head shots, and some could have stab vests.
I really like the idea of crawling zeds, they seem to get the survivors in films/comics all the time.
One idea I had for one type of zombie would be a simply tougher one, because of the person it was before reanimation. Perhaps the body just takes more damage due to him/her being a tough sob in life.
Whatever you decide to do, it will be awesome, just don't ruin the shambler ethic they have and I'll be happy :)

Good luck with that particular part. All I had in mind was make it a simple melee weapon, that maybe only knocks back the infected and can stun players if wielded carelessly.

Everything looks great guys, only thing that annoys me is the way you carry stuff, if your going for a realistic setting then having you carry the stuff hl2 style (floating ahead of the player) ruins immersion. Maybe have said item a weapon you hold, and can bash with so your not totally useless when carrying it.
I don't think it would be too hard to implement, and would like to see it.
Another is are you going to make your own player anims for walking and moving etc?
I love the detail in your artwork. It's fantastic. Throne its great, and the detail in the shoulder guards makes it all come together.
That flamer looks different to the normal marine one, is it a custom job perhaps? Maybe master-crafted?

Likes drawing, anime, manga, video games, mods of all shapes and sizes, my mates, food, booze (lol) and generally having a good chill. Oh and i love zombies theyre awseome. Dislikes assholes who think they own the world, bullies, the fact that a nuclear apocalypse could happen, if zombies were real id hate that (ironic huh:P) and waiting years for a game to come out and it be done in five hours. That sucks so much....
