actually prefer the idea of corvettes designed for boarding than salvage corvettes one of the few things i liked on homeworld 2 compared to homeworld original. fave homeworld one ships were multi-gun corvette and repair corvette for kushan. hoping sphere formation will be put back in used to sell all captured frigate ships just before entering the nebula to create drone frigates and create a sphere formation of them around my mother-ship then using them to wipe out kadesh.

I loved strike group formations and creating sub formations as i would create micro formations of three scouts set to break formation backed up by 2 squads of 3 interceptors set to hold formation so that using the boost ability the scouts could outrun the missiles based on missile destroyers and tangle up enemy fighters and corvettes that engage and pursue them and allows the 2 squads of interceptors set to defend them to fall in behind there pursuers and cause significant damage whilst minimizing my casualties which was useful when playing with limited resources.

thank you as it was my second fave thing capturing enemy ships but hated having to leave my computer run as it spent 30mins slowly moving the ships all the way back to my mother-ship. just looking forward to having my squadrons of multi-gun corvettes backing up my scouts

no i disagree i think drones should be available but have them done as a build item ships have to build individual drones one at a time and cost ru's to produce and can then launch in a mass wave depleting your reserve or launch only what you want out of the ships ammo banks (a bit like the torpedo system on complex mod)

I really should learn to mod so i stop pestering you with questions but will you be keeping the current capping system where you have a build limit for each class or go down the same path as the complex mod and give every one a crew and officer system. that way the bigger the ships the fewer ships you can have and the smaller the ships the more ships you can have. finally can you pretty please put asteroid base harvesting system in the next mod again like complex (bet you can guess what my other favorite mod is) as it drives people into a capture and defend type game. Again i really should learn to mod

Fantastic mod but was wondering if you plan to use a docking system at any point like they do in the complex mod to dock the shipyard and mother-ship together into one ship, on the galaxy class engine and saucer section so that the galaxy class can split in two during combat

several ways i can think of. disable the start up video if crashing when you start the game up. Check you have the most recent patch version. if carshing when starting a skirmish match try altering the settings as could just be a random bug caused by a a setting not being set properly. if problrm still persists uninstall and reinstall homeworld with the latest patch and only the stargate mod as one of these methords should fix it. otherwise give more details please on what you mean

I think replicators should only be able to build a few ships. With the ability to capture by launching replicator torpedo type weapons at enemy ships as seen in stargate. Classified as a special function, that costs resources or has a charge time. But have every ship in-game have a replicator only upgrade that boosts all ships stats, pushing its ability above that of the regular class, as seen in stargate when the replicators attempted to attack the Asgard homeworld for the first time. with a super ship being a wraith hive ship combined with replicator technology, like the agent in the arc of truth

"will" as its not something they have to do playing there mod alone at this point is more than enough for me
"some point" meaning eventually not stop what you are doing and do this now

Also i know that what i am asking is really hard if it was easy i would be trying to do it myself and most likely failing

I was wondering at any point will you be doing a subsystem overhaul, giving the ships more sub-systems than they currently have. as I would love to be able to destroy weapon points and engine points on ships in greater detail. forcing me to decide which system I should repair first "should I repair weapons so I can continue to fight or engines and run back Behind my lines to repair, my ship fully for the next assault". Also you could enable a engine subsystem on fighters and corvettes that can be targeted and damaged by the explosion of capital ships in close proximity, forcing them to limp back to your capital ships to dock and be repaired. By the way I really love this mod and am really tempted to learn how to mod just so I can help you wonderful people in completing it.

personally I love having just one prometheus in the game. my only wish is that it had a weapon upgrade for it making it more effective as a Anti-Fighter and Corvette ship. As i recall in the end of the first and begin of the second series of Atlantis the rail guns used, were originally meant for a over haul of the prometheus weapons system.

just in case people haven't realised if you switch your starting position in fire-fight to position two you can play as the invading force which can be fun. Also your ships will move to the enemy location regardless off your orders in this mode. love trying to destroy the halcyon with as few waves as possible whilst scuttling all my nuclear bombers as it just makes it unfair on the halcyon
