Just downloaded 0.2.1. Never downloaded and installed the mod before. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the mod crashes to desktop when I try to launch it. Anyone else having this issue?

I disagree with you about Tanya being useless. You're supposed to put get Tanya into a base when the enemy least expects it. Send in an attacking group, move Tanya up a flank or behind enemy lines entirely, then she can either destroy a base while the enemy is distracted or help the attacking force by striking the defending forces from behind. I honestly don't see how she can be useless in the least except if you put her toe-to-toe with Natasha or against overwhelming odds.

The only thing I would would request to be done with this mod is to make missiles hit moving targets that are flying more often. For instance, it seems to me that on the GDI campaign, Pitbull and Missile Squad missiles only hit the Stormriders in the first vs. Scrin mission 10%-20% of the time, making the GDI campaign impossible to complete on this mod. So, upping missile AA accuracy would be a big help.

Another piece of absolute brilliance, Farseer. Just like the previous version, this version is perfectly balanced and everything looks great! This is the only mod I have ever given a 10/10, and it definitely deserves it. Great job.

Hey there. This alpha looks interesting, but do you think there is a way that you could rework the mod so that the "Generals" folder and everything else needed to run the mod can be put in the C&C 3 "Mods" folder? Because the way this mod is installed makes every other mod unusable, as well as the base game.

I just started a game and had the dozer given at the start of the match build the Dark Energy Generator right by the main building. Drones are doing their construction animation, but the bar for the Dark Energy Generator's health has not moved after five minutes. More instruction, please.

I'm having the same issues as others. I set the auto designer to build the first power structure, built two to speed up the process as suggested, but the structure still does not build. What am I doing wrong?

FYI, my graphics settings are set to max on all aspects except anti-aliasing, which is at what the game calls "level 1". What do I have to do to get the ASI faction to work for me?

I would much rather the RA2 (perhaps Yuri's Revenge) roster of units rather than the original RA roster. I think it would add much more variety and strategies to use. But that's just me. If you aren't able to commission models for them, that's all well and good. Good work, either way! Still love the mod.

I love the mod; the new units are amazing and I like some of the new structures. I have a couple gripes: the power and the time. Why does everything take so much power in this mod? It makes maintaining a base more difficult and causes you to clutter your base with power plants. The other thing I don't get is why armor and aircraft take power as well. Building a force shouldn't compromise your base defenses with loss of power in my opinion. My other issue is with the time it takes for upgrade research. Cheaper upgrades ($100-$500) should only take a few seconds (5-20 at most). Instead, here, they take 40 seconds to 1:10 or 1:30 or 2:00. Research times like these are better for higher-tier upgrades. The time should fit the price.

I really do love everything in the mod, I would just like to not have to build five power plants for a few Mammoth Tanks. Tedium is not fun.

Could you put the units that are in GC into skirmish as well? There are some people that don't do GC a lot, like me, so having them in skirmish would make the mod a lot more fun to explore and experiment with.

I will answer you. Reinstall the game and then reinstall the mod. That should fix your issue. If that does not work, I have had a similar experience with the GoG version of the game; in that case, google your specific problem. I saw people asking about your problem while I was searching for the solution to mine.

The 4gb patch messed up my game. I believed I finally fixed my skirmish crash to desktop issue by switching the executable's compatability mode to Windows 7 (my OS). I didn't encounter any problems. So, after a few weeks (today), I decided to install the 4gb patch again so I could play EaW-Re without it crashing. I played only two skirmishes thinking everything was fine. So I went around doing other things. Then I decided to play some more EaW. Loaded a mod up fine, no issues... until I clicked skirmish. It crashed, just like it did all those other times, and this was only AFTER I installed the patch, like minutes after. I deleted the patched version as the GoG version installation video instructed and renamed the backup as instructed. Still crashed upon pressing skirmish. So, now I'm going through the only process I know to fix this: copying my mods file onto my desktop and un-installing and re-installing the game cleanly. I will not be using the 4gb patch. If it will keep causing my game to crash, then it's not worth using. I don't know how the rest of you use it and you don't run into the same problem I do.

It would be more than awesome if maybe two or three flights of fighters/bombers or one or two corvettes could go into the fighter hangar section to be repaired, then fly out with a "unit repaired" announcement. It would be similar for frigates and bigger, which could dock one at a time with the tender and be repaired. During this time, the ship being repaired would not be able to move and its weapons would either not be able to fire at all or the weapons' power would be greatly reduced. The other drawback to this? Any ship being repaired will also be destroyed if the tender itself is taken out.

Apologies to everyone because I misdiagnosed the problem. I encountered my crashing issue again and I did not have the 4GB patch installed. However, what I can determine is that the skirmish crash issue has to do with whatever governs the skirmish mode and its functions. As I have not encountered this issue before, I will continue to pore over the game files to see what is causing my specific error.

Well, after numerous experiments, I found the issue that causes FOC to crash when clicking skirmish, vanilla or modded. I never encountered the crashing until the 4GB patch was installed. I don't know why the patch would cause the game to do so, but that's what I found. The crashes happened mere hours after I installed the patch.

To clarify: When my game crashes after clicking skirmish, I only get the message "Star Wars: Empire at War - Forces of Corruption has stopped working." and that Windows is checking for a solution to the problem. No solution is found, so my only option is to close the program. I have never encountered the security module or memory crash error. So, my advice is to use the 4GB patch at your own peril, and sometimes, you'll have to accept crashing.

I have one issue. I'm sure I have everything in the right place, and everything so it will run right, but when I try to start the mod, either full or windowed screen, it says "Fail in Create Process(), please check your file". Is there a fix for this? Also, I have the latest version of VC2010 and play on a Windows 7 computer.

Jeroenimo, are you sure you or others (I don't know if you're working with a team or not) can't find a way to get the mod to work with no graphical or other issues without buying the GOG version of EaW: FoC? There are some who do not have the money to do that. It would go a long way in having more people enjoy the mod. It may take some work, but you can do it if you've done this well.

Is there a different download link for this that you know of. I was able to download the zip folder, but when extracting the files (using Zipeg), the extraction slows to a crawl. Such a crawl that when I started the extraction at 9:14 AM this morning, it's [i]still[/i] extracting files now at 7:25 PM. That's 10 hours! It has never taken this long to extract files before. The Yadi.sk download either has a virus or something, I don't know. Any suggestions?

Try Zipeg. You need Java for it to run, but it's free, fast, safe, and opens as many types of compressed files as 7zip. I also find it much easier to use.

By the way, I love that you've integrated Red Alert 2 and 3 into it based on what I've seen. You can trust me; I would love to see what you have done with this fanon mod.
