Anyone know how to use the 4gb Patch with Steam? I already had it installed but out of nowhere one day the launcher started requesting my CD key and wouldn't let me leave trial mode no matter how many times I enter it. Decided to reinstall the mod using just the module/texture folders as suggested without touching the EXE, classic crash shenanigans ensued, but after applying the NTCore 4gb patch again the game wont launch and is giving me the "Steam Error Code 51" schtick. Obviously DRM related but any work around would be appreciated.

I was so pumped for Ismole's mod and waited for years. Happy to see how this turns out. Did something actually happen to him or was the R.I.P in the summary just a joke?

Oh my god this is good. Question: There are a bunch of ZIP files in the mod folder, one of them labeled "XWWIIBlood." I noticed when enemies die there's a cloud of white smoke that comes off of them. Is that white smoke a placeholder, like a low violence setting, and the files inside "XWWIIBlood" are meant to be merged with the rest of the mod folder to make it red instead of white?

I see. One other route I could think of was simply putting the Army helmet head on a Marine body and color over the Marine camo on the pants with the Army green tone. I wish I knew how to model because I'd love to tinker with it an tackle it myself. If you have any links where I could find a basic rundown of the programs needed I have a lot of time on my hands I could put towards figuring it out.

EDIT: Nevermind, crashes happened because another mod corrupted my xpack folder.

Do these work for the current version too? Won't cause conflicts or anything? Asking cause I know nothing of modding lol.

DUDE. B.R.A.V.O. This is absolutely fantastic and I am upset that I waited so long to dust off BFV and play it. Absolutely fantastic. A long, long, LONG way back last year or so before you released it I talking to you on here about the possibility of making the White US Army/Air Cav models have rolled up sleeves like how most soldiers did in real life. I was going to do it myself by taking the vanilla ARVN model with the rolled up sleeves and swapping out the heads with the US Army/Air Cav ones and then of course edit the uniform textures to match. I don't really know how to model however and kind of just forgot about it. Later though I was playing Laufer's Balkan War mod (Download that **** if you haven't. It is kino) and he actually did create that exact model for the Croatian faction (Air Cav White Guy Helmet head on ARVN Rolled Sleeve body, but with Croatian uniform texture of course). So getting to my point finally, since your going so far in on atmospheric immersion as you are with this, should consider asking Laufer if you can bum that model because if you did and put your US Army/Air Cav uniform texture on it it would be the cherry on top of the immersion. I know wearing the sleeves long was a thing but ever since the game dropped in '04 it always bugged me because it just seemed impractical given the heat and the humidity. Any way just a thought. Do it/don't do it, doesnt matter because this **** is already a ****** blast and another level compared to most other mods. Once again, bravo man. You did a great job.

I wish someone would port the 1880s mini-mod to single player campaign.

Is there a file I can tweak that can remove the class limits? All I can play is the soldier class because the bots take everything else

I wish I knew how to mod because I would absolutely kill to convert this mini-mod to a single player campaign out of love for westerns set in the 1880s, as well as expand the map to Arizona for some Kurt Russel Tombstone action lol.

God speed to you, sir. I am looking forward to this very much. I can't believe with all the pre-existing vanilla assets nobody has done a 1960s/1970s NATO v Warsaw Pact mod with this game yet.

After playing alittle bit the only thing I'd suggest is give Syrian Rebel Army different uniforms or something that sets them more far apart from the Syrian Assad forces because theyre near identical and hard to tell apart. Kind of fitting in a way though because it kind of mimics the wars "grey" nature but hey. ******* great mod regardless! Good job man!

Please keep adding maps I have been dying for a devoted Syria mod for over 6 years. Good job on this!

Forgive me if this is obvious, i'm new to this game and mod (just downloaded both tonight) are there Zakus and gun tanks in this?

My man do not put pressure on yourself, take it at the speed you need art takes time :) Best to work comfortably rather than stressed as thats where artistically the juices flow the best. Working 12's ended a band I was in because **** just gasses you out. We are all grateful someone is pumping blood into this old horse again period. Wish you the best in your recovery from that anomaly of a storm.

Either way this is looking good bro. If you know of any good links to how to edit models Ive always been down to do that myself only issue is lack of experience/info. I have an idea how I want to do it. I'd take the short sleeve ARVN/MACSOG-V model and swap the head out with the US Army helmet head and apply the army texture to it. Again, if you know how or where to learn ive been wanting to do this myself for a long time.

For some reason Reichsbahn, Vuoksi, Bataan, and Brecourt Manor don't work. I had this installed a year or two back and it was fine, do you know what causes them to crash on loading? They also don't have menu pictures, just white

Hey man, I remember 13 years back being hyped as hell to the point of nearly buying Max Payne to play it, only held back from doing so because it wasn't out yet. Hope youre doing well, glad to see it being revived!

Out of the box this was a borefest but the modding community back between 2007-09 was one of the purest, most fire communities there ever were. I spent hours playing LMS in Trins server, hanging with the modders and other guys from the former Undeadgames.com forums (R.I.P). It was like a 24/7 Romero Renaissance. Without a doubt my most golden gaming memories of my young adult life. God damn I miss those UG days so much. Hope everyone's doing well wherever you all are at these days.
