She'd move more quickly and be better protected in studded leather or chainmail--she's currently got heavy weights on her head, hands and feet, hindering mobility, but nothing except pointy bits on her torso, negating any sort of protection she might gain from the heavy armor on her extremities. It's the worst of both worlds. >_<
Of course, this is typical over-the-top Games Workshop design, and what you say about the Celts was (occasionally) true. I guess one should either go into battle properly armored or wearing literally nothing!
I always thought a daemonette's victims couldn't help but be attracted to it, regardless of how hideous it was. That's Slaanesh for you ಠ_ಠ
Uh...you are aware that the whole Rapture thing is a joke, right?
I, for one, am all for some hardcore Vikingesque elves. I applaud you for doing something different.
I pirated Oblivion a few years ago only because there was no demo. I played it, enjoyed it, and bought the Game of the Year edition. I suppose it's still not justifiable, but pirating a game to try it out isn't all that unreasonable, provided you do eventually buy the game.
All the primarchs have silly, silly names. It kind of puts a damper on their ridiculous badassery.
Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but spending an inordinate amount of time commenting on the page of a game you don't like in order to inform people how much you don't like it just looks like trolling. You have, what, ten comments in this thread now? Each and every one of them says basically the same thing, so perhaps you could stop. Sorry dude, this kind of behavior just makes you look like a ****.
ANGRY MARINES! YES!
I hope there will be Power Feet.
Shoggoth? Or Yog Sothoth? Pick one or the other, says the Lovecraft nerd.
Wonderful atmosphere here. It looks great!
Nice! The environments look a LOT better than when I last looked into this.
It's shaping up to be a very interesting project. Good luck!
Disappointing that there are no mods. Mainly because I'm worried this absolutely awesome setting will disappear into the mists of time and never be heard from again... :(
Seriously, the developers appear to be working on some sort of singleplayer WoW facsimile; why would they pick such a generic setting when they had this IP to work with? It's sad that RoL seems doomed to obscurity.
It would be great if you guys could host the install files somewhere that didn't require me to pay money in order to download it. Is there any reason why you can't use the ModDB servers for this?
It's a really great mod, but seeing as it's already horribly difficult to install, it would be nice if it wasn't also horribly difficult just to download.
GAAAAH. I thought creepers were terrifying. The Ghasts will give me nightmares. XD
This update will be awesome.
Concept sketches are on the weak side, but it doesn't matter, because the final model is AMAZING. Really impressive work!
This mod looks great; good luck to the team.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like it's based off of Thor's hammer Mjolnir from Norse mythology, which was stated to have an unusually short handle...so it makes sense.
I think their point is that the Source Engine isn't really suited for good melee games, but that people are still making excellent ones. I'm impressed, for sure.
I think they mean you have to delete your Teutonic folder so the installer can create a new one that has the CoW data instead of the Teutonic data. I guess it fools the game into thinking you're running the teutonic mod, for some reason...it's odd though, because other M2TW mods don't have to do that. Third Age has its own folder in the Mods directory. This is a great mod, for sure, but a complete pain in the *** to install.
An aspiring concept artist--It's where I want to take my career, but currently I'm just an amateur. I'm a competent artist at this point, but I'm well aware that I have a way to go before I can match up to some of my favorite artists.
A really excellent--and really terrifying mod. Pulls off the Silent Hill trick of dreading walking into the next room, in case there's something terrifying in there. Whether there is or not, your nerves will be jangling the whole way through. It's also managed to accomplish the decidedly difficult task of making Half-Life 2 zombies scary again after we've been blowing them away for six years.
I took a break from playing it ten minutes ago, and my heart rate is still up. Needless to say, if you want a good scare, play the hell out of NH2. Congratulations to the modder(s) for making something so excellent.
You are not a very good blogger, my friend.
I always do max res if I can, but my graphics card went to hell recently and now it's rare that I can run a game at 1680 x 1050 without a huge drop in framerate.
I'm pretty sure that's all the difference anyone needs.
Might be referring to the character from DoWII: Chaos Rising. He's a Space Marine librarian, so really their only similarity is that they're both black... >_>
That's a plasma gun, right? Is it easy to simply recolor the particle effect that exists for the normal plasma guns? Because if possible, it might look better.
Do I see...TRAITOR GUARD???
Awesome.

Hello! I'm an avid gamer and aspiring concept artist. I think modding is one of the greatest aspects of PC gaming and would do some myself if I had the time...>_<
