Thanatos mod for Half-Life 2

“Reach absolute power.”

Thanatos arrives as a new proposal to gaming, different to any title you've seen up to date. A mixture of diverse genres with an attractive history which submerges the player into a parallel universe that seeks total supremacy.

A Group of nine warlords start a journey to four unknown islands in search of infinite power that is said to exist within 9 colossal structures. The origin of those islands is certainly unknown and only few ones have come back from that place but with terrible consequences laid upon them,telling terrible stories about the islands.

Aztec Entertainment is proud to have the initiative of making a project that will open the doors of independent videogame development in Mexico, a cooperative work of 4 people passionate with the design and video game programming, using the technology like valve’s Source Engine which brings life to the award winning game Half-Life 2.

Thanatos combines diverse genres with the influence of amazing games like The legend of Zelda, Ninja Gaiden,The Elder Scrolls:Oblivion, Doom and more to create a videogame full of action and a history that will make the player feel like they are inside an alternative universe with surreal elements beyond imagination.
The combination of a first person shooter with a system of melee weapons,using fast and entertaining combat, an abundance of epic sceneries and settings, a strong plot and most of all, endless fun which will make Thanatos , innovative in its genre, an unique and memorable experience you won't miss.

Our objetive is to bring a high quality mod and turn Aztec Entertainment into one of the most representative game studio in Mexico,specially in PC Gaming.Thanatos is our first idea and we hope it will grow through the time with our hard and continous work.
