if hes going to have a CAS aircraft thats not A-10 or based on the A-10 it certainly wouldnt be the F-22 or 23. If anything it would be the F-35 and even then thats more fighter-bomber then close air support unless its the marine version of it.
Guy. I believe it's still only helge
dude relax its better to get one side mostly done instead of having parts of alot of sides done
wait you can't be mixing DC and marvel unless your doing capcom vs marvel vs DC. just give all the shadow team if your keeping them hadoken
this actually makes sense if NOD decides to paint it and such to look like a natural landform depending on terrain. Especially if all the actual manufacturing stuff is underground and this part is just the support systems (air circulation, entrances and what not)
bombs that do a fire damage effect im fine with but flamethrowers not really because of the time frame. the only nod unit that would somewhat make sense to still have more of a flame attack would be the devils tongue and for some reason i want to say its flame wasnt produced by lighting a fluid on fire but was already more plasma based.
im talking about flamethrowers being a terror weapon only not napalm and fuel air explosives those are different and practical. though napalm was used more to clear out the jungle along with whatever was in that area, so it was dual purpose
even then flame weapons are still primarily terror weapons not practical weapons
flamethrowers at this point would really only be good within a building but on a battlefield theyve almost always been useless even as a terror weapon because of their range and their range would always be pretty short. well on a field battlefield if it was an urban or jungle they would be useful. only ever were good against troops and maybe light/open air vehicles but tanks they wouldnt work well and if a structure is armored or made of concrete they wouldnt be effective unless flame was kept on structure for quite a fair amount of time. by the time they would do damage they would either be destroyed or have run out of fuel.
i never did that because it would be too easy course the way i did it was faster without loosing any units taking out the power plants. send bombers and just before they get in defenses range use super weapon or a support power to take out power
why would someone spam the venom anyways? attack bike was better for spamming and rushing. sure one shell from the predator pretty much took it out but the attack bike was far more powerful then the venom even with the laser. just do waves of 10 bikes each or if you dont mind the money spam the stealth tanks put them on aggressive and do waves of those
I dont think hes using this to replace the APC but I could be wrong. I think its something to go along with the APC
The Bradley they use now the army got rid of the fireing ports yet still holds troops. who says an APC type vehicle has to have the ports?
the vanilla firehawk at elite status could take out 6 venoms if you controlled what it fired at between shots. 1 elite missle would take out a venom and i want to say an orca as well. actually one elite missle would take 2/3 of an unshielded devastators health maybe a little more
give banshee some type of single shot tiberium missle designed to do a good amount of damage to it? weird that it was placed here... but for some reason i thought the kodiak name was misplaced on the ship it was on.
this one looks more strike force where the other one looks more assault like its a support unit for the tanks and walkers but can still take a decent amount of damage. maybe use both one as a scout/light strike force with multi role missles and the other as a large assault support unit (large assault i mean a good sized force) with heavyier missles that have to be switched from anti-ground to anti air or just only one missle that is only anti-ground
jenner doesnt have arms though but yeah i can see it a little bit. especially if the torso was more round
reminds me of the UCS panther from earth 2150 mostly
I know they don't fire just saying that IF they did fire it would be less than the normal obbies
wouldn't they be light duty obelisks? they arn't the same size as the normal ones. they look like they would have roughly half to 3/4 of the power of the normal ones
That's why I said some infantry like it can only make rifleman and missle squads but none of the others especially not the heavy infantry
an upgraded archangel would be awesome though. turn it into a battlewagon but really expensive slow heavily armored and heavily armed
I'd say replacement for surveyor that has limited power production some infantry like the basic stuff and maybe a combo machine gun/grenade launcher for a little defense capability.
Wouldn't let me edit again. The claw on the vanilla avatar was semi-pointless since it couldn't be used as a weapon to destroy enemy vehicles and you couldn't take weapons from GDI or Scrin units. Maybe with the juggernaut it would get a shoulder mounted cannon but it would lock out being able to get a flamethrower.
power rangers? when I think of piloted mechs I think of either mechwarrior or robotech/macross. I just noticed that the arm design is somewhat similar to the Kodiak battlemech. But it's not very close that someone could say that is what inspired the arms. Well depending on what picture and game/book your going off of.
looks similar to the cougar and uller from mechwarrior
The vanilla avatar wasn't even really a heavy vehicle. It was more of a heavy medium vehicle. Had a decent amount of firepower but not very robust for a frontline unit. I was thinking if the laser of the miniobelisk is sustained it would be good as anti-infantry then like how when the obelisk fired at infantry it was sustained and could track across a few squads if they were close together. of course not as powerful. And I don't see the GDI look in the legs
