Ok. im having a problem that maybe someone would be able to help me with. On this and several other mods, i have installed them as directed in Desura. All went fine until i tried to launch them. An error came up instructing me to change the settings in Steam to accomodate the mod. The problem is, the version of the Gold Pack that i have is the original box version from target or where ever. I tried to validate it on Steam and link it to my account there, but Steam doesn't support the validation codes i have. Now every time i try to run the mods, i get an exception error and the game crashes without starting. Any proposals?
sorry if this has already been addressed (there are a whole lot of comments), but the pirate consortium does not work at all. i start GC as them and the game ends after day 1. Id like to play as them but currently cannot. would you mind fixing this?
i figured it out. you have to click on the little desura thing in the left top corner. when the drop menu comes down, go to tools. click on add installed game. then where it says manually installed game, give it the eaw name from the drop list and click browse to find the file directory.
is there a reason i can run this on maximum graphics settings with no problems as far as lag but when i do it on foc it lags out and is nigh unplayable?

found another glitch. on some of the planets i own, the base layout wont show up in gc. like it shows the map with the build pads and bunkers and reinforcement points but not the base and unit slots. it only happens on nal hutta, kashyyyk, trandosha, zonjn V, atzerri, ordo, mandalore, naboo, and geonosis that i know of. lil bit annoying when theres and invasion incoming and you cant get your units and bases situated.
the hutt venators in gc are missing textures on most of the model. it has a little bit of normal metalish color on the port and starboard bow area and the bridge but the rest is all orange. also i dont know if it does this on all the planets but i saw an enemy hero icon (the medal) and when i tried to see what i was up against, the icons didnt show up so i was kinda diving in blind. might be detrimental one day. lol.
oh. sry. i had looked through to make sure it hadnt. guess i didnt look hard enough. oh well. :P
that. is not an odyssey class.
one more thing. if you start the galactic conquest for the mandalorians on tech level 5, every single technician shows up in the unit bar. its not really so much a problem as it is an annoyance.

thrawns ship is also missing a texture. i no he is in skirmish at least. he just comes in as ur faction color.
Sweet!!! so far ive just found a few textures and texts missing. everything else is running perfect
this is my new favorite mod so far. havent found any bugs yet but ill b sure to post em.

great mod. could use some rescaling on the units though. fighters are quite large.

overall, good mod. theres a couple of things i ddnt like too much.
1)no hardpoints on the frigates or capital ships
2)Thrawn's ship (i cant recall the name) doesnt have any textures. its just a solid color.

great mod. it would be cool if the mandalorians had a jet trooper type unit that could be used for raids and such. other than that, its great.
ps: the CD 10 is my new best friend. lol.
it would be cool if there was a conquest map for each group of rivals like one for the old republic and sith empire ect.. other than the limited conquest, great mod. good work!
me too. i dont know whats going on with that. it only picks up the foc expansion version. i have the gold pack and its not working. i dont get it.

if you are not using steam, would you just use the usual programs(x86)/lucasarts/star wars empire at war/mods file location?
