I am a British modder currently living in Oxford. I am also currently attending the Oxford Cherwell Valley College. I've been modding from quite a young age and have been able to build up my skills quite significantly over the years. I am a modeller, coder and mapper. I primarily focus on organic modelling but I can do some hard surface as well. I'm also a voice actor. I own a SAMSON C01U Studio Condenser microphone which has little to no room noise. I have voice acted on a few projects in the past however I do wish to expand my list of voice work. If you want me to help out on your mod or game project, just give me a ring on skype or steam and we'll talk there. I don't always join projects for free as I do not have huge amounts of free time, however I will voice act for free as I do enjoy doing it and it's not as time consuming as the other jobs. Thank you very much for reading my Profile Bio. - Alfred

For those of you wanting to use a cracked version of hl2 to play mods. You can't do it. In order to play an hl2 mod you need Steam and a Source game. Half life 2 mods don't have a seperate executable file and can only be played through steam. If you have a version of half life 2 that is not on steam then you can't play mods.

Also because this particular mod is Multiplayer and source mp games use the steam server browser, you wouldn't be able to play online even if you DID get it working. Take my advice and get a source game. It can be any one as this mod uses only the base content.

So in short no you cannot play any hl2 mods without a source game on steam.

This bill is essentially the US government shooting themselves in the foot. If the bill passes it will not go in favour for the US government nor the film and music industries. America right now is one of the most powerful countries in the world but if this bill passes it is very possible that, that title will go to countries without censored sites like Russia.

This bill passing means the end of the world as we know it. Even though this bill is meant to pass in the USA, people who say, "I don't care it doesn't concern me." are truly blind. Alot of sites get great internet traffic from America. If suddenly the US citizens can't go to a site because that site said something which in one way or another could possibly lead to piracy, that site will start to lose it's traffic and before you know it, it will die.

This means that many people who use the internet to make a living etc. will lose their lives due to hollywood thinking that they don't have enough money. (Which they do in the first place to support the ******* bill) So the whole thing about this bill being bennifical to the people is nothing but a lie.

I am from the UK and I strongly oppose this bill and will do anything in my power to help fight against it.

Static lighting just looks plain bad in games which have the capability of phong and bump. Your claim that source can't do phong very well is just not true. If you look at alot of recent mods, the phong on weapons and props look pretty damn good.

It's true that there are instances where someone doesn't know how to use phong correctly but that's not always the case. Go look at mods like NMRIH and the like and you'll see what I mean.

Well done to all the other mods. I was surprised MTA won. It's been a while since I've played it but looking back on it I can see why it won.

MTA with it's multiple gamemodes and addons makes the game endless with possibility.

Hell you can even setup your own mansion in that game. MTA has every MP gamemode you could ever want ranging from zombies to racing. So I'm glad it won MOTY. It's a great game and deserved it's place.

It doesn't matter whether a mod is good or not, quality assurance helps because it takes someone from the outside and showing them a piece of work they know nothing about. Then, and only then, can you get a proper honest opinion.

The bodies do have full gibbing but only under a weapon circumstance. A shotgun has a wide bullet spread and therefore can probably achieve that. The hitboxes themselves are also bigger than the body parts.
