Unrelated, but I like your avatar.
I didn't know there was such a thing as Serket Laboratories.
I remember these things. From the REEEALY old Clone Wars comic mini books.
It turns out the name is legit, but here's a picture from the wiki anyway.

I actually think this is an Asari dreadnought, a 'standard' one, so to speak.
The DA is basically this same exact ship only with the upper fin and a designated name.
Perhaps these ships would be the high cost, high power, large size type of thing, and the DA, since it is canon, would cost a bit more, have more power, could only have one built at a time, and it's specific model and name. But you would be able to associate it with the basic dreadnought hull, only with modifications.
Like Admiral Piett's Star Destroyer compared to normal Star Destroyers in Empire at War.
Well, in the numerous halo books that feature space battles, the ship-based MAC rounds feature 'a smoldering white-hot trail'
Also this is in fact a screenshot, and the effect might not last very long, freeze the cutscene in Halo 3 at the end of The Storm, and you will see that the MAC rounds from Hood's frigate group do have defined trails that disappear very shortly thereafter.
The Oculus has the role of Reaper fighter in ME3
Is that an Epic Doom Cannon on the dorsal side near the stern?
I see 2 MAC Guns, 2 light PD cannons, 2 of those giant triple-guns that the Marathon has... and is that a massive forward-facing turret like the Munificent and Resucant ships have in Star Wars?
A new ship... The Talos... Having a cruiser's firepower but half the size... Was that perhaps inspired by the all new Tier 3 battlecruiser, the Talos, from EVE Online? Which can fit battleship size weapons for massive damage but is much smaller and cheaper?
I'm not unhappy or accusing you of anything, just curious to see where you pull inspiration from, because the Talos really does look amazing.
Ahahaaa the title made me think of the Warhammer 40k Space Marine guy that can't stop saying 'manufactorum'
But anyway, amazing job. Will those little things that look like bays in internal framework release engineer pods or something when building a ship?
Well, it had a good run. Even unfinished, it is still an amazing mod. I remember seeing your ship models on Deviantart, which led me here and to join ModDB. Great work, Chakotay!
Well, is there any chance the 4.1 will be translated to English?
Amazing mod! I can't wait for the version on your website to be put up here for download aswell!!
Incredible mod, this has the largest unit list of any mod I have ever played, and the massive-sized maps with all the ships and fighters scaled properly are amazing to play on.
I did find one glitch when playing as the Empire in a skirmish tho, it doesn't bother me in the slightest, I just figure you should know about it: Randomly throughout the match, groups of three Praetor Star Destroyers and five of the smaller missile ships (same combo as Admiral Giel's 'call reinforcements' special ability) come in whenever possible, and it overpasses the unit cap. (Highest I saw it go was 75/45 due to these ships just coming in)
I don't know if that's the 'reinforcement feature' or anything, but it basically fills up your population cap so you can't bring in any ships that you want. Once again, it doesn't bother me in the slightest (free reinforcements FTW!) But I just thought it may be a glitch worth noting.
I see the firefight and multiplayer setups and no campaign, but can you still set up a skirmish against the AI with chosen attributes and limits for the match?
Calling yellow and light pink, Imma slap those on a Marathon and call it the 'Stare Master'
Ah, very cool. I like the fact that there is a carrier for each size classification of ship, i.e. Frigate, cruiser, capital...etc.
So this gussied up Hermes class which has been in almost all of the firefight screenshots insofar will be replaced with a larger ship? Can't wait to see that one :D
Aw, I'm one year short of the testing age, and lacking of a beastly PC to run Homeworld II on, all I got is Parallels running on my Macbook Pro XD
But that seems to run Empire at War with around 500 units onscreen at once plus all their individual effects pretty well..
Oh hey look, a turret! I'm guessing this ship is the UNSC Liberator? As it seems to be the one most heavily featured in the pictures, which leads me to guess that it is the starting/main ship for firefight. Also that snazzy omega symbol must mean something.
And my statement from a few images ago still holds true. You guys can not get enough praise.
This looks more Lucasfilm style multi-million dollar funded CGI, not a video game mod. Honestly, the team that is making this mod has incredible talent.
Aw yeah. This mod when done has to be put in some kind of hall of fame somewhere.
Does that longsword on the right have some huge missile launchers or is it just me?
If the hermes can only fire a salvo of four at one time, followed by a short reload time for the torpedo tubes, won't that make the four lone torpedoes easy meat for point defense guns?

I'm just here for the halo.
