i think that it's time that this moves on from a garry's mod gamemode.
you guys should definitely port it into a standalone source mod, because lets be honest, some parts of this are kind of clunky, and you could make it much more streamlined and less buggy if you removed the gmod aspect of it.
the problems that come from modifying files like this is that even if you do it right, there might be another line of code, not even in that file, that refers to that line, so if it changes, it sets up a chain that can break games. in metro 2033, if you try to modify the base damage for the pistol, none of the weapons will show up on the hud, and you won't be able to pick up ammo
unless call of duty was made with source, and not just a heavily updated id software engine from 2000
umm, if it's a mod for alien swarm (source), and it's in first person, doesn't that just make it a source engine mod?

i meant the node graphing part. i have no problem using the generator, but the process of noding maps that don't have snl files takes up way to much time.
on the topic of the mount filesystem error, last time i checked smod t ran on sdk base 2006, so installing that might fix some problems
i love this game mode so much, but i feel like it could be a lot more. the gun controls, even though i know they were supposed to be shaky as it stops people from rdming, could use a lot of works, and i feel like it would function a lot better as a standalone mod. you could do a lot more optomizing, and have maps specialized for the gamemode (more than the current ttt maps are) with more terrorist only functions. if you guys ever do decide to take my advice and turn this into a full mod, just pm, i'll be glad to help.

just got it, and i've been playing it for 5 hours straight. it is awesome. just one question though. twice, i have heard a seemingly random voice shout "that's gotta hurt!" wtf is this? is it an easter egg in median? or is it something from d2 which i just never noticed? it's really been bugging me.
can we get a mappack for those who suck at/are to lazy to use the mapadd system?

what do you expect? it's ubi-*******-soft, they do the bare minimum when it comes to ANYTHING but basic gameplay. imagine how awesome it would be if they released the sdk for splinter cell? but noooo... why the hell couldn't they be more like valve and epic games?

ok, i fixed the thing on the skytrain level, but on the hospital part, when the dude's running around shouting like an idiot, i can't figure out how to get to the next chapter. whenever i kill the dude i just get a black screen with crappy music.
whenever i finish the skytrain level, it cuts to the loading screen, then the game quits. halp?
i'm having a hard time starting a mod for episode 2. everyone says i have to use the 2007 engine to do it, but there is no option to use ANY game with that engine. wtf?
