look in your new gamedata folder, do you see a folder called unpacked ?

it is for unpacking the .db files so you can see the full gamedata folder.

you need to place the 3 files into your new gamedata folder, then double click on converter bat file(not the red window type icon) and wait a couple of minutes, it will show you it's progress

using this with the steam 1.0006 patch and all seems to be ok so far, i have been to cordon, garbage, agroprom, wild territory, dark valley, bar and army warehouses and have not had any problems yet

i don't know if your going to do this but will you be placing ladders on the towers and buildings that have broken ones ?

i personally think it would add to the game to be able to actually use them as lookout/sniping positions, but i do understand if this is something you do not wish to do

the atmosphere in this mod is excellent and spot on for the setting of this game imo.

and luckily for me steam updated my game to 1.0006 so i have been able to play it at last ;)

Took me ages to get out of the freedom base,

not because of any errors but because, all my favorite tunes were being played over the intercom so i spent time just chilling with a cup o coffee before i ventured out again,

reminded me of my old biker days :P and yup im getting quite old

I have never had that experience in a game before and i thoroughly enjoyed it lol

I feel sorry for the devs

They had to release a game when they never intended for it to be released this early because of some numpty who decided to upload the whole project somewhere for others to use/play.

I would also assume that at least another years testing, fixing and additions were meant to be added so that the final release would have been bug free and hopefully have met expectations if not exceeded them

Alas this was not the case, it was not their fault

The fact that the dev team are still committed to it even after what must have been a very disheartening time says alot about them in my opinion

I know that if someone had released anything i'd spent years creating i would have thrown in the towel,

They have chosen to continue

I for one appreciate the effort the team has made in creating this 'stand alone' game and i wish the best to all of them.
