Love it. About time this damn game had a decent Vietnam mod. As a Vietnam reenactor i've been longing for it.

Majorly confusing on downloading stuff and installing....

6 hits to destroy an A7V isnt realistic as the Armour on WW1 Tanks was so weak 1 shot was enough. I prefer the Blitzkrieg damage system. The custom system used here reminds me too much of why i stopped playing Vanilla CoH.

Very good mod. Looking forward to the updates with more maps and units/abilities.

My only major gripe is the Damage System.
Coming from playing Blitzkrieg its annoying to be back to the Vanilla system of 100000 hits to kill a tank etc.

But its a very very fun mod to play. Well Done!

Looks to me like the M16 has the A2 style handguard not the A1.

I know they were made before WW2 as its called the M1935 but it was a very common pistol at all and wasnt in any massive use by the Allies until late 1944/early 1945. Same with the M3A1 Grease Gun. Also the Grease Gun wasn't used on D-Day but would be used in the Battle of Normandy. Even then its the M3 not the M3A1.

Mod is aimed at Realism. So explain the M3A1 Grease Gun and Browning Hi Power. 2 Weapons which both wouldnt see mass issue until almost Wars End?

Not wishing to **** on your parade but the Insignia is the wrong way round and also incorrect for D-Day. Also the uniform is the incorrect colour. Id also get a model of the Mk.III Assault helmet which was almost worn by everyone in the 3rd Division.

If it helps im a Vietnam Reenactor i can happily supply pics of the Uniform and Webbing as i have all original stuff.

The Firefly wasn't used in the desert as it was a stop gap measure used in Normandy. And the 'Pikes' are for going through hedgerows so id guess that neither of those things will appear in game.

I have yes all the way up to the current, i always send over some tanks to sweep the map to make sure all enemy are neutralised, and find nothing yet enemy engineers keep spawning and running on to get killed.

Am i doing something wrong but i cant seem to win on Annihilate. I literally pound the enemy into the ground, wipe their HQ off the face of the earth but it never ends.

Its called a CAR-15 and don't copy COD Black Ops, it should have a carry handle on the top like the M16.

Its impossible to add Canadians as they didnt fight in the Desert. They did in Sicily though.

Really following it close as my Great Grandfather served in North Africa with the 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards in the 6th Armoured Division.

The armored jeeps were used by the 82nd Armored Reconnaissance Battalion not the 82nd Airborne.

Love the SMLE, have a 1939 B.S.A one myself. Much prefer it to the No.4

Hope the mod does return as it was pretty good, again just lacks players. Based on a possibility of return im forming a realism unit for it. Never hurts to have more of em hehe.

To clear this up.

Ham And Jam was the Call Sign for the succesful capture of Pegasus Bridge on D-Day.
