When are prefabs going to actually make it in Jackhammer? This is literally the only thing from holding me back from using it regularly because I actually like to use prefabs.

Prefab support won't be implemented in the near future, sorry. :(

Instead of trying to figure out the original .ol format, would it be possible to come up with your own in the meantime? Or would that be just as hard?

Object library format is not the problem. The problem is lots of dialogs and code modifications needed to add the functionality.

Ah, I just figured the main issue was the reverse engineering part. Guess I was wrong.

Hi Xareox, thanks for Jackhammer, i have two request features : it is possible to add the size dimension in realtime when creating a new bloc like in hammer for the source engine, i know we can see the size at bottom of the UI, but in hammer source way it's better, here screenshot: Developer.valvesoftware.com and last request it is possible to resize and move the 4 views from the middle, for the moment we need to move the views in horizontal and after vertical not both.

AH ok sorry XaeroX, i go to fast in the 2D views menu and not see the unchecked "draw sizing info" button maybe toggle on by default will be good, thanks again for this cool program, more powerful than Worldcraft. i m testing for the moment and if i see bug i will report it.

Last question can i change the half-life.fgd for my needs ? Because i want take some files that i have created in my previous installation of hammer 3.5.2 if you remember it, but this time it's for my personal usage no new setup installation for public, i have see the Worldcraft 3.5.3 made by Yo Den, but Jack Hammer it's the best after testing and see the difference between the two programs.

Sizing info is disabled by default because it sometimes is not convenient and many people got used to working without it. I didn't know that new hammers have such feature. I saw it in Q3Radiant. :)
You may edit any existing fgd files as you wish until you keep a header message regarding the previous authors.
The main difference between custom Worldcrafts and Jackhammer is that the latter was created absolutely from scratch. Worldcraft is still non open source so no one can modify it heavily, only minor hex editing based on disassebly is possible yet.
