I have this really strange problem.

I use three editors to make maps for half-life: Hammer, Sledgehammer, Jackhammer.
Hammer is the only one that can load custom .wad , while the others just leave a checkerboard. So now, I only use hammer, although it is very limited.

Jackhammer should load any correct HL wads and was tested with lots of them.
If it can't - just send your wad to me.

But first of all, make sure there are no texture name conflicts - Jackhammer doesn't load textures with the same names that are already loaded.

For some reason, I changed the pics to a HL incompatible ones and it shows up, Even in-game. LOL, I hade to go trough ten errors and even my friend siad that it was incompatible and was amazed how did I even put it into a .wad file. Anyways, for some reason, it worked and now the ultra-hd sign is working (BTW, Im using the original Half-Life, not the source verison or the HD one.

I don't have any lags even on complex maps with many many models.
Desktop PC, core i5, GTX 275 - mediocre by modern standards.
