This game is not supported because their map compilers are not open-source.

A PROBLEM:
So, when I save a map in rmf format in Jackhammer, I cannot open it on any other editor (eg. Sledge). It just gives this error: Incorrect Rmf format. Expected 'DOCINFO', got " (or two ' , I really cant tell). What's the problem? Plz fix it.

Just tested: created a default room, saved to RMF in Jackhammer, opened in VHE 3.5, everything is fine. Have you got the problem with a specific map? Then please send it to me as JMF, I'll take a look.

This is the best editor for Quake (1). A few days ago i thought to myself: "Why there's no hammer-like Editor for Quake1?"... Then i saw this. Holy ****! Thank you very, very much! The workflow is much, much faster than in other editors.

You are welcome. :)
Although Hammer Editor, formerly Worldcraft, was designed for Quake 1, and adapted for HL later. The problem is that Quake-compatible Worldcraft is really annoying for lack of many features we've already got used to.

I've opened a discussion board within the group (the "forum" link), please ask your questions, give feedback and report bugs there instead of the comments list. I hope it will be more convenient.
