I have a question, at this point do you think its worth learning to mod Half-Life 1? Like it looks super fun to be able to inject your creativity into essentially making your own HL game, which is awesome. But is it JUST that, or are the skills at using JACK and Milkshape and all that non transferrable and redundant?
I'm just wondering, cos id LOVE SO MUCH to make a HL1 mod, a very ambitious one probably knowing me. But I have almost no experience, last time I made a map it was like 20 yrs ago on Worldcraft (anyone even remember that?) and recently ive just been learning about reskinning models and the amazing fact Half lifes folders are malleable, you can just move and rename stuff and have aliens as scientists or you can take models from mods and change up the whole game to your choosing. Thats dope. Anyway, what you guys think about learning JACK now?
Both Freeware and Steam versions have been updated to 1.1.3773!
