The Clone Wars have always been, in and of themselves, from their very inception, the revenge of the Sith. They were irresistible bait. They took place in remote locations, on planets that belonged, primarily, to "somebody else." They were fought by expendable proxies. And they were constructed as a win-win situation. The Clone Wars were the perfect Jedi trap. By fighting at all, the Jedi lost. With the Jedi Order overextended, spread thin across the galaxy, each Jedi is alone, surrounded only by whatever clone troops he, she, or it commands.

War itself pours darkness into the Force, deepening the cloud that limits Jedi perception. And the clones have no malice, no hatred, not the slightest ill intent that might give warning. They are only following orders. In this case, Order 66. Hold-out blasters appear in clone hands. ARC-170s drop back onto the tails of Jedi starfighters. AT-STs swivel their guns. Turrets on hovertanks swing silently. Clones open fire, and Jedi die. All across the galaxy. All at once. Jedi die.

-The war was named after the clone troopers utilized by the Republic against the battle droid forces of the CIS. These armies, the Grand Army of the Republic and the Separatist Droid Army, were two of the largest ever pitted against each other in galactic history, and the fighting between them rapidly spread to countless inhabited worlds. Beginning with the First Battle of Geonosis, both sides scored significant victories over the other, and at different times during the war either seemed likely to triumph.

The death of the Confederate Head of State Count Dooku during the Battle of Coruscant and that of the Confederate General Grievous during the Battle of Utapau, coupled with the issue of Order 66 and the deactivation of the droid army, brought an end to the fighting. At the time, it was the largest galactic conflict to date.

Unbeknownst to most of those involved, the conflict was started, maintained, and eventually ended by the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious, whose ultimate goal was the transformation of the Republic into the Galactic Empire with him as Emperor as well as the eradication of the Jedi Order through the Great Jedi Purge. The conflict led to the Order of the Sith Lords controlling the dominant galactic government.

The original Clone Wars cartoon from 2003 was actually really good :)

Indeed, that one was great, I only had hoped that they would have made more episodes.

Yukino-the-Kitten Ezra Bridger bears a striking resemblance to Sky-walker. And he even acts in a similar way. "Inside you, much anger, much fear." -Yoda-

This club is inactive. Anyone here? It's like talking to a brick wall. Nobody likes SW-R. :/

Apparently, Mod-db is going down the tubes(idiomatic expression;)

We could incorporate SW Rebels into this marvelous club. We might discuss certain events or just talk about SW-R and T-C-W once in a while. Anyone likes this neat idea?
Hmm? ^_^

If my memory serves correctly I did suggest/try to transfer this into an Animated Star Wars group. Anyhow I don't think anyone would mind the change.

We don't necessarily need to post images and videos to promote SW-R. It would be better to merely converse with some members for a while. Even a short review of each episode would be nice. Anyone could write some relevant lines expressing their real feelings. How come only some individuals usually talk about SW and others simply observe and assign negative or positive karma-point? I find it disturbing. :/ If each member posted one comment every week, it would make a considerable difference.

So, what's your view on the SW-R animation? It's slightly better than T-C-W. Everything seems fluid and smooth, even the light-saber duels look nice.

At first I thought SW-R would be a dismal failure, but after a while I noticed it's a quite neat show. I'd like to see Vader or Uncle Pulp in the near future.

EU is alive. As a perceptive SW fan, I can create my own SW universe based on novels and games. Nobody's gonna take away your memories. People should stop complaining and expand their SW universe.

Welcome back, Obi-Wan.

I sincerely hope it'll be an epic novel or a series of informative books. :)

Maul. Where are you? It would be hilarious if we saw him in SW-R. Even Lando Calrissian appeared in this relatively new TV-show and he was simply great. I really like the scene when Hera hit him in the stomach saying "Oh, you're welcome." ah-ha-ha! :D
