I've been playing this game for about 18 months now and it's awesome. Each team has one commander, who plays the game like an RTS and coordinates team strategy. The rest of the team play on the field: mining, building, scouting and fighting (the combat is a combination of shooter and melee). I love the distinct teams (human and beast), the melee combat is the best I have experienced in an online game & the RTS commanding aspect is unique.

Can't update game from auto-update servers, it connects downloads for a little while then crashes out, always starts the downloads back up from the beginning. This is the error:

This looks like your having a connectivity issue to the server
Difficult for us to fix it :/ You can try editing your au.cfg and reducing the number of threads to 1 and see if that fixes the issue.

or try increasing the number of retries to 6
maxRetries "3" to maxRetries "6"
failing that can you turn on debug mode:
debugMode "0" to debugMode "1"

Lol, maps at my game are invinsible. I can only see fences spawns, enemies and allys. NOTHING ELSE. Everthing else is invinsible :( HELP ME PLEASE :(((
Seems like your install is incomplete. Did you run the autoupdater at all and if so, did you run it as administrator (in case you're on windows Vista/7/8)? The autoupdater puts your game files into the right place when you start the game for the first time. If the problem still occurs, you'll find the support forums here: Newerth.com

it does not run, when I put launch or play it blicks something but nothing happends... from terminal it saiys that there‘s a libXft.so.2 connot open shared object....:No such file in directory I downloaded it and paste it everywhere andit just does not find it... any suggestions? i am new at linux (ubuntu 12.04)
