In Mission: Humanity the human race and most of its colonies have been enslaved, destroyed and drained of its resources by alien aggressors. After a struggle, however, humanity is able to free Earth from their clutches and acquire their technology. The remaining humans who have survived the initial alien invasion decide to band together and hunt down the rest of the alien race to prevent the same fate befalling any other species. In addition to hunting down aliens, the player is also allowed to colonise new planets from which humanity can begin to prosper from once again. The player is to assume command of humanity's last hope and save themselves from extinction whilst stopping those that nearly destroyed humanity in the first place.
The game was originally released as Eksterminacja. Żyj i pozwól zginąć innym. (Extermination. Live and let others die.) in Poland by Techland.

I was wondering if there is still anybody who is playing this beautiful game and can say me how to beat the first boss Base? Im always dying :D
It has been a really long time since I played this game ... but I beat the "boss Base" a couple times by using as many Commando infantry as it would allow, and then sending units out through the base 1 at a time. Trying to manage more than 1 unit at a time is useless because the path finding is so terrible.
But by micro managing 1 unit at a time inside the base, each time getting a little further through the maze and killing as many units as you can, you will eventually get a guy to the center of the base. Once you get to the center you place some sort of bomb/mine on some sort of "power structure looking thing" and it will blow up.
I don't know what it's like in the second system Base, because I have never played more than a couple planets into the second system before being too bored with the game to continue.
Good Game, I miss modding tools for it...
Been thinking to get seriously considering modding this. First thing I need to get is a big file extractor and recompile, soIi can extract the images, models and sounds and start working on replacing them.
I converted the intro into normal AVI but the bugger wont play the music when starting a new campaign. Then I converted it into WMV and it plays the music but the screen goes all black. You can't win.
Will have to try other file types.
My biggest concern is that not a lot of people have this game, nor will want to buy it, and so will have to be converted into a stand alone crack patched with a exe. But I haven't got a clue how to do that.
I love playing Mission Humanity and still do, i would love to help you mod the game!
Don't worry, I got the game, and it actually works on my laptop ...

I wish they would remade this game, or make sequels/prequels to it.
I'm thinking provably... to start a mod for it.

It would be great! I hated that I couldn't pass the campaign, cause the endless hard attacks on various planets and the lack of resources made the game impossible to win from there.
I tried with trainers, but that never worked for me. I lost almost all my planets, and as soon I start an attack onto an enemy planet, I get overrun by enemy forces. They are just too strong.
And hooray for adding this great game to ModDB! It really deserved it!
Yes, I think this game is worth a shot. Worth giving it a second chance... or alternatively use C&C engine to make a mod based on Mission Humanity.
Perhaps the Red Alert Engine or Tiberium Dawn.
First thing I would like to change is the sound effects. At times it really bugs me.
i wonder if this game happened to use the same engine as Red alert 2?
No, it was custom-built. ;-)
