This program can be used to change camera FOV, distance, pitch and height for all vehicles all at once.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Copy "Fuel_camera_modifier.exe" and "input.txt" to the "Param" folder inside the game installation folder.
2. Make a backup copy of original "VehiclesParam.tsc".
3. Open "input.txt" with a text editor.
You can change distance, pitch(angle), height and FOV for three types of cameras used in the game.
Change the "1.0" values for the settings you want to change.
For example "1.25" will increase the original value by 25%.
Save your changes.
4. Run "Fuel_camera_modifier.exe".
If there were no errors, it should say "VehiclesParam.tsc updated" at the end of the console window.
NOTE
If you want to repeat the process with new values, use the original "VehiclesParam.tsc".
OPTIONAL
By default original values are multiplied(*) by a given value, but you can also use addition(+) or set exact values(=).
Examples:
- if you want to increase FOV values by 10 degrees, change "* 1.0" to "+ 10.0"
- if you want to set FOV values to exactly 90 degrees, change "* 1.0" to "= 90.0"
If you want to change other vehicle settings under different codes(1-678) just add the new entries to "input.txt".
INFO
This program is based on information found here: Moddb.com
Can I make this camera from first person?
There is already a first-person view camera in the game. You can change the values for that too.
Cannot be used with FUEL: REFUELED. Is there a workaround?
Game must load VehiclesParam.tsc file from somewhere. If Refueled moved that file somewhere else you need to find it and run the program from there to edit that file.
But I remember reading that developer of that mod might have moved vehicle settings to multiple files. In that case the program would have to be run on each of those files. I would need a list of those files.
great mod....
hi, i have a problem the camera went upside down when I use this mod
Sorry, I don't know what could be the problem.
It is necessary that there are no zeros in the values, and also use values no higher than 1.65
