Disco Dodgeball is a projectile-based arena shooter, racing game, and vibrant futuresport combined into a stupid crazy fun audiovisual spectacle. Drive around a neon-lit dance club in jet-powered robots, launch off skate park ramps and nail each other with exploding glow-in-the-dark dodgeballs.
It's kind of like activating an 'all-throwing-knife' mode in other shooters, if you were all riding skateboards and in a dance club.
Combat is entirely physics-based - meaning you can bounce, deflect, and catch shots. Your only ammo is the ball you are carrying, so every throw is a high risk / high reward situation. And of course you can perform 360 no-scope helicopters and other trick shots for points or just to show off.
A free demo for Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball is now available for download on Steam.
It includes the following features:
However, the following aspects are limited to the full version:
My hope is to create a demo that players can get a lot of use out of, and if they become dedicated players there will be enough incentive to grab the full version. It'll also give all the players who heard about the game on YouTube to check it out for themselves.

@Sheepisaurus agreed! That's a live link to latest releases, changing constantly. Was different sample when I posted

@DrGreatJob similarly, if I were just starting out now, I'd probably be upset that my 1st game didn't get a fair shake on the front page.

@DrGreatJob I personally agree, but am aware that the perspective is relative. I'm sure some old guard devs think DD is unworthy trash

@Freezenifitweet That's definitely the goal of the new-ish Steam Discovery update. Valuable exposure other than front page banners.

It finally happened...I got burned from ignoring compiler warnings & wasted 30 mins debugging simple issue. Took two years to happen though

@Freezenifitweet at the very least, it's an important factor in overall sales. Bet I wouldn't be getting rec traffic w/o past performance

@Freezenifitweet Placement does make a big difference though - my sales are up 300% this month due solely to Steam recommendation traffic.
