Earth, 2019. A team of US scientists makes a frightening discovery on an island in the South China Sea, and all contact with them is lost when the North Korean government quickly seals off the area. The United States responds by dispatching an elite team of nanotech-suited Delta Force operatives, and tensions quickly rise to boiling point. But when a massive alien ship reveals itself in the middle of the island, generating an immense force sphere that freezes a vast portion of the area, the two warring factions must unite, fighting epic battles through tropical jungle, flash-frozen wastes, and finally in the heart of the alien ship itself for the ultimate zero-G showdown.

EPIC GAME

Enjoyed it all. The overall plot may not have been too great but it certainly placed you in some amazing environments that used the power of the engine very well. Such as the mine, the core, and of course a real dense and detailed jungle.

Found it reasonably long, and you could not charge in easily, so it helped lengthen it.
No real negatives, other than the freezing up at two points in the game without patching, sometimes a few too many enemies in such a small area, lack of assistance from team-members, such as Psycho.

Two words;
FREAKIN AMAZING!

its one of the most beauty games that i have play on windows.
I hope to see this on linux too.

Again the cryengine makes us speechless. Crysis was the game that looked like reality back in 2007, it still kinda do. The storyline is good, the multiplayer is good and the graphics are awesome. You are playing as a human with a modified suit that makes you fight like a superhero. The gameplay is not realistic thanks to that, but it's still awesomely fun to play.

I think the thing I like most about this game is the phrase it spawned. "Yes, but will it run Crysis?!"

Crysis has still close to real life graphics unlike today's games.

When people think of Crysis, all they think of are pretty graphics since this is why it was the most revolutionary game in recent years. Still, noticeable effort has gone into the single player and multiplayer of Crysis, making it one of the best shooters of all time. Innovative gameplay changes up the feel of Crysis, and they perfected the mechanics so it's not clunky at all.

The campaign is lengthy and sandbox style, while multiplayer has larger maps than Battlefield 3 as well as more compact maps so everyone is happy. Deathmatch and "Power Struggle" are the only multiplayer game modes, the latter is very strategic and the best PvP game mode ever created. Crysis multiplayer is one of the most fun games ever made, right next to its sequel, Crysis Wars.

When it comes down to modding, there isn't a game better than the Crysis series. Not only do they include a bunch of xml and lua files for easy, quick changes, all of these files are compressed in simple .pak files so you can use WinRAR to access them. The CryEngine 2 SDK was as revolutionary as the engine, making it much easier for people to create mind-blowing levels and much more.

Crysis is without a doubt the best all-around shooter: very good single player campaign, excellent and highly innovative multiplayer with a learning curve, and unrivaled mod support.

Awesome game !!

One of the best game ever made!
