You wake up in a dark alley, not knowing anything. What has happened anyway? You struggle after the truth and answers. Answers you want to know in the darkness and fear, which makes your heartbeat race like violent blows against your head. Where do "they" come from? What has happened? Are you just turning insane? The time is up; you can't stay there reading your smses forever. It's time to head out and find the answers. Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO Half-Life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

I'd love to watch the movie but I'd hate to ruin any of the fun of the game (it's been an immense test of personal will not to watch any of them so far). Okay, first of all, I would like to point out that it is completely redundant for someone to vote Mod of the Year on a mod that hasn't even had one public release yet! This is rediculous! Great mod though, can't wait to play it, but I will be bluntly honest, I will not vote for this mod just because it looks good, it needs to play good too, and I can't base any vote on that if I don't have a version that is playable to do so. I do wish the best of luck for this team, and I am excited to see release.

EH! I take offense to that! I am an American who uses proper grammar and spelling. Anyways, I voted for this mod. I want see more games in to horror, horror. Like you know it's there but you can't see it not blood and gore ********. Though it does help with the atmosphere.

Damn fine work. I'm especially loving the amazing job you guys have done on the animations and cut-scenes.
Only thing that looked odd was when Simon was rowing the boat...it seemed like the oars weren't splashing into the water or creating any ripples as they moved through the water. Nevertheless, the scene is still very well-done.
Anyways, again, the team's done an amazing job. Good luck in MotY; you guys deserve some major recognition.
They do create ripples, but I removed the splashes for now as my experimentation with them didn't go too well. Looked like dicks.

Yeah, I wonder why no one else is seeing the ripples? Bad eyesight? They were one of the first things I noticed, and appreciated...don't think you're rowing hard enough for splashes, really.
