B&W2 demo
May 22, 2010 Demo 0 commentsThe official demonstration version of Black and White 2.
Like its wildly successful predecessor, Black & White, the sequel is all about moral choices.
The land, however, has transformed itself. The inhabitants of this breathtaking 3D world have lost their innocence and developed new weapons and technology. As you enter this warring world, will you make tribes coexist peacefully; encouraging villages and towns to grow into sprawling metropolises, or prompt them to inflict their will upon others by, creating and commanding large armies that seek to dominate and conquer?
Creatures in the game have grown too. They can learn strategies, master new abilities and skills, lead armies into battle and be your ultimate unit. Black & White 2 includes other new elements, such as improved graphics and miracle effects such as rivers of fire and earthquakes that yield massive destruction.
Every choice you make will have an impact. Each action and inactions prompts obvious changes to buildings, flora and fauna, all morphing to reflect your personality.

The OGaM is sending out a call to every fan of Black & White 2, that we wish to bring together a community effort to sway Lionhead to give us the tools that BnW2 has missed out on such as:
- Model Exporter
- Creature Editor
- Dialogue Creator
- Text Database Editor
And more. We need as many people on board as people, so if you wish to help us out, then go to Kayssplace.com sign up and post in the thread "Lionhead help the OGaM Team", your backing could provide us the necessary strength to make Peter Molyneux release these tools, to better BnW2 and OGaM as fans agree to be the best fan game modification ever.
Even some devs of Lionhead have agreed of what potential OGaM could sustain and how it could boost BnW2's popularity.
A little tool that handles scripts for B&W2. The preview image shows most of the functionality.

This game is pretty good, graphics are fantastic for a seven year old game but it's very disappointing compared to black and white 1, the first game was more....i dunno why but it gave out a good atmosphere, and to be honest again...graphics on that are still good today, black and white 1 had more of a story and you actually got to fight people your level and you had temples, well...."Focus of your power" Temples, so the second one is a very big disappointment, but it is cool with some mods.
Hay the game won't let me set my settings to max even though I pass the recommended Req by a long shot any suggestions ?
Did you ever figure it out how to set the settings to max? I'm having the same problems?
Looks phenomonal. I think even if it's been a while now, the work is looking great (Y). I have a question. Do any of the beta's have a mutiplayer prepped and ready to try? I understand that the idea of Multiplayer is unfortunately scratched, as without Lionhead Studio's data, it's undoable. - Does this mean there's not chance at all of a multiplayer also in the future then? - or will there be ways?
messed that up lol - that was to OGaM mod - so scratch that ^_^
The two best things about BOTG is fighting a god instead of generals and that your creature's more useful in it.
Is this mod being released soon?
do someone knows where to download the first B&W
i miss the multi-player and just basic feel of BnW1, BnW2 is a tad too easy.
mind you, i like the armies! i always said bnw1 could have used some more town to town interaction. rellying entirely upon your creature to convert a town always ****** the hell out of me.
7/10, great game, but doesn't uiet meet my expectations from the first one.
I am not in any way saying this game is bad...but, i cannot beleive how poor it is, in comparison to the first!
They got rid of the temple - bad idea.
the game is more centered about domination now, as opposed to raising a huge kick a** creature - you can almost complete the game without one. All you need to do is get a huge army.
Don't get me wrong, the game is good, but falls way behind in comparison to B&W 1. I would rate this game about 4.5/10.
Sorry to anyone who disagrees, but that's my opinion
