Black & White 2: Of Gods and Mortals is the first fan-created game. It contains a thrilling two parts that will span across 14 landscapes along with killer features like the God AI and a storyline that will keep you hooked until the end.
Features to come with the Release:
- A unique new Storyline.
- God AI and Platoon AI.
- New and more powerful miracles and epics.
- God AI presents God Relations.
- Non-linear gameplay.
- Exporter Release will add to the game new buildables.
And down the track, this game will be transformed to create an online multiplayer and skirmish.

It has been some time since the last bit of news was posted for this game. Alas things have changed.
On behalf of the team I am excited to say that Black & White 2: Multiplayer is Coming Soon. The multiplayer picks up the features of the old BnW1 MP with the use of the BoTG hand feature. The AI of the NPC gods are played out by an enhanced version of the God AI but also the ability to verse other players is created by the extension of the Script Library with an external Socket Library.
This allows p2p(Peer-to-Peer) or online LAN games to be played and is an exciting new breakthrough for Black & White 2 and the community.
In about a week's time the OGaM's Teams programmer iRzilla should have a viable working copy of MP that does everything mentioned. Tests and all that will need to go ahead before anything is released but I am confident that it will be released all in good time.
Please be patient as the MP game will still take a while to be done before it is released to the community.
Overall here are a few features of multiplayer:
- PvP LAN and online LAN gaming.
- Skirmish NPC god versing.
- Ranking system for players to see how they fair in the world.
- Clans
The MP game will also have included in the download an SDK which is needed to make landscapes online capable.

You need to get a video of the multiplayer mode in action (or skirmish or whatever new features)
Hello fans. All seems to have been quiet but this was not a case of being inactive. Everyone has been working hard whilst balancing a social life but this is still on track. I recently submitted some news about the game's Multiplayer(Online) side which should appear within the next day or so.
Any new updates?I have been interested in this mod for a while now and I was wondering if it will get finished.If it does get finshed I will be happy,if it doesn't then I won't be surprised.
Essentially this is a mod but on a larger scale. It will not be released on disc and may be downloaded directly here or any other place that it is available.
will this be compatable with a no disc mod

I would be interested to see Diplomacy between Gods (Unless you have already done it?)
I must confess and say that the mod is just sitting on my desktop not doing anything. I would install it but i'm really waiting for a full offical mod (So i don't have to reinstall my game if there was a startup game error).
Big battle fields and a high speed option would be awesome. A massive island shaped so then the only way towards you enemie is through the middle (Circle like map where the only way to go is the to the middle - where about 6/8/12 armies would meet?)
Higher Speed option so then if your not looking for a long battle and want a quick fight, preset villages to get right in there.
Just a quick question about the video, the God Ai? Will you include the animations to what it does? Because the hand doesn't move at all at the moment.
Also another question is, how long does the Ai last? Will it keep repeating certain steps like micromanagement of armies and resources repeat themselves? (They should do to create a challenging ai.)

Well what I can tell you that is has been rather slow working out the bugs of the many things in this game whilst at the same time keeping lag to a minimum.
God Relations is a major part of the ai and will allow you to interact with the other gods on the map and establish friendly relations or become enemies depending on the actions you take towards them. Although at an early stage, this part of the AI is slowly developing towards what its supposed to be but theres still a bit to go.
In general the AI was written so the god hands you see, do actions based on the town's status.
E.g. If the town becomes low on food then the god will proceed to water and gather food from a nearby field(and later on if there is no field present they will either build one or gather food from a different resource such as cows or fish in the ocean).
At the moment we are at quite a minimum on tools we can use including an exporter which allows us to convert models made in 3dsmax to .bwm to use in-game. Without it the closest god hand model was the one Lionhead had created for the purpose of gods in BnW2 which was obviously scrapped.
Hi. If you have the skirmish tool installed, then the OGaM folder with the ccr file and sif are used to install the game without placing files manually. To install via skirmish tool just read the readme upon starting the skirmish tool.
Otherwise install the files manually as it says in the game's readme text file. Like others you may have noticed that there is no map.txt, which I obviously forgot to add to the archive but no worries. Follow this link to my forums and read on for the solution.
