[CHANGELOG IN THE FIRST COMMENT] Pretty Pistols Pack. High Quality Models & Textures for all the pistols in Anomaly. Replaces copies with unique versions instead. Also makes balance changes to make them different and more fun to use from eachother.
___________
DESCRIPTION
___________
Pretty Pistols Pack.
The goal is not as simple as just fixing and prettifying every gun, there will also be balance changes where required.
The main idea though is indeed to make all guns have the best texture and the best models available.
Said balance changes also means that, for example, the smaller P229 should be using a lower magazine size with 9mm caliber instead of the default .45 ACP.
Some guns, unique or common, might have tritium sight. Almost every tritium sight is different.
IMPORTANT. The mod has been reported to cause crashes, but the fixes are easy and can be done on your side.
If you don't want to do that, it's your responsibility, but don't blame any of us modders about it.
First of all, find any stashes of pistols you have made, then disassemble all of them.
Second of all, set "trader restock cycle" from Options>Gameplay>Progression to 12 and sleep at least 13 hours.
After all this is done, you shouldn't have any "old" pistols that might crash the game.
___________
INSTALLATION
___________
The mod was made with FOMOD in mind, it's recommended you use Mod Organizer 2 (MO2). If not, manual:
Simply extract the "gamedata" to your main Anomaly folder.
Look for addons in "addons", extract gamedata from it to your main Anomaly folder.

___________
DETAILS
___________
--- 1911 ---
[OVERHAULED]
Every 1911 is now a variant of it, not just the same 1911A1 with a pitiful retexture and normal map.
* Main variant itself is a classic "1911". It is no longer able to use a suppressor. It has been balanced to be very accurate, especially after upgrades. Thanks to "Hung Do" for the model & textures.
* Variant 2 "Alt" is now a Smith & Wesson 659 that can be turned into a Smith & Wesson 645 through the .45 ACP caliber change. It is pretty much a "compact" 1911 that uses .45 ACP or 9mm, so has less weight and better handling for slightly less accuracy and recoil. All credits go to "tigg".
* Variant 3 "Camo" is now instead a Coonan, which is a 1911-lookalike pistol that uses .357 Magnum, comes with proper balance changes; it is pretty much a much faster-firing Desert Eagle but with lower accuracy and much higher recoil, especially on consecutive shots. Since it's only available for high-ranking Monolith & Sin members, it's very rare. Credits go to "eNse7en".
* Variant 4 "Custom" is now a "Strayer Voigt Infinity", this pistol has a unique trademark clip that holds 15-rounds and has zone-made fast-firing 3-round burst and blue tritium, but its recoil on fast-fire is strong and reliability is rather low in comparison to the classic 1911.
* Variant 5 "Duty" is now just a copy of the 1911, but it has a unique upgrade that makes it use the 7.62×25mm Tokarev caliber instead of .45 ACP. When changing to said caliber, it will have less recoil, more penetration but less damage.
* Variant 6 "Merc" is now an M45A1, with tan paint and yellow tritium sights. Credits go to "New World Interactive", creators of Insurgency Sandstorm!
* Variant 7 "Modern" is now an M45, with stainless steel finish. Credits go to "New World Interactive", creators of Insurgency!
* Variant 8 "New" is now an 1911A1, with a deep blued finish that would make it more closer to the civilian version of the "Colt Government". Instead of being a direct improvement, it's now a "choice", either because of better ironsight or just the looks, although it does have some mechanical improvements such as for firerate. All credits go to "Antimatter Games".
--- Beretta 92FS ---
The Beretta is now composed of two Italian 92FS types, M9 and Px4 Storm.
Variant 1 now uses another model and texture. Thanks to and all credits go to "FadingSignal"! It is a proper Italian Beretta 92FS, having markings made in Italy and the frame being a smooth slant instead of a straight block that M9 would have.
Variant 2 is exactly the same as Variant 1, but uses INOX and has red painted sights. Also made it have the same gameplay balance as Variant 1.
Variant 3 "Camouflaged" is now instead a Beretta Px4. Thanks to "Tim Bergholz"!
- Said gun had balance changes to make it have better recoil, RPM and weight but worse accuracy. Also, it can be upgraded to use .45 ACP caliber instead with further balance changes.
Variant 4 "Modern" is now instead a Beretta M9. Thanks to the company "New World Interactive", authors of Insurgency Sandstorm!
- Said gun has balance changes, but minor, simply making it a bit better than the first two variants except for reliability, unable to change to 9x18 and inherent ability to use a silencer.
For general balance changes, Berettas have bad continuous recoil but good first-shot recoil, good accuracy, good reliability and good handling, making them good enough for close and even long range combat.
--- Browning HP ---
[OVERHAULED]
- Default variant is now a proper Belgian-made Browning P-35, with some blueing. This includes a new texture and normal map.
* Naming has been changed to "Browning P-35" to keep in tune with the lore.
- Variant 2 is now a "Browning HP Mark III", made in the same style as the Browning HP in "Clear Sky/Call of Pripyat". All credits go to "Alex Stuart" for providing the materials!
* To make it a bit more balanced, it has much more firerate, much better reliability and slightly lower recoil but much worse handling compared to the P-35.
--- MP-412 REX ---
[OVERHAULED]
- New model which is a lot smoother and better.
- New textures which gives it a much better blued look and some worn to it.
* Rebalanced to be a slow-firing and low handling revolver, but with good accuracy. Further upgrades specialize the gun for faster short-range combat or slower long-range combat.
--- CZ-52 ---
- Fixed smoothing errors.
- Improved the texture by giving it better details.
- Fixed the normal map, it was using a broken one. Also, improved it by adding some proper Czech markings to it.
- Improved the specular a bit, it should be a bit more shiny but not too much due to Wear&Tear.
* Rebalanced the gun, it's no longer a ridiculously accurate pistol, instead it's a mix of PM and TT-33, compared to the TT-33 it has less accuracy but much more handling and firerate.
--- CZ-75 ---
- Now uses a much better texture & normal map. Includes some nice plain ironsights, trigger & barrel are bright stainless steel, has visible red dots on the firemode indicators, etc.
* Resized the model so it doesn't look as small as the PM, also fixed smoothing errors.
--- CZ-75 AUTOMATIC ---
- Completely redid the model, this was done by using the CZ-75 itself as base.
- Now uses the much better default CZ-75 animations instead of CZ-75 Auto.
- Completely rebalanced it; now has much worse accuracy and less handling than the default CZ-75, but it has slightly better vertical recoil while worse horizontal and has a magazine of 20 rounds.
--- Desert Eagle ---
* Balance changes have been made to make it the slowest pistol to fire with the highest recoil possible and the worst handling, but has the best accuracy (especially after upgrading fully) and damage.
- Said changes go for all pistols except Nimble's, to make them not different from eachother, so it's a matter of taste instead.
- Nimble's Variant is now the current modern variant of the Desert Eagle Mark XIX, Dual-Tone with Silver Slider and Black Frame, also has its own recoil compensator and picatinny rails. It was created by "ELIZION", so all credits go to him.
- Also, it is able to use Barska, C-More and ACOG scopes.
- The guns are now separated by color; Silver, Black & Gold.
- All gun models have fixed smoothing.
- Specular has been remade to be a proper sexy shine.
--- FN57 ---
Now uses another, much better model from the game "Ready or Not". Thanks to the company "VOID Interactive"!
- Also, balance changes were made to make it act like in real life; accurate, ergonomic, lowest recoil possible. To compensate, the fire-rate and range is lower.
--- FNP-45 ---
- Some minor fixes on the mesh, this includes some smoothing errors and bad UVs.
- Completely new textures, the main version is now a Stainless Steel slide with dark black frame.
- In turn, the "Custom" variant uses FDE texture and has orange tritium sights.
--- FNX-45 Tactical ---
* Completely new model by "samindeed" with much better textures.
* Sights now have no lens dirt.
- First variant is stainless steel slide with black frame and has no sights other than iron, Second variant is FDE with a small red dot scope.
- The dot is separated and made smaller, making it as compatible as possible with other scope/sight mods.
Variant 3 "Custom" is now instead a FN 509. Thanks to "Lokeig"!
- Balance changes include changing the caliber to 9x19, which also means it has a magazine capacity of 17. It's pretty much a slow-firing but very accurate and recoiless 9x19 pistol.
--- Fort-17 ---
Now uses "Fort-12" just like in the original trilogy. Credits to SAM61 for the model.
* Includes some balance changes, Fort-12 is a direct upgrade of the Makarov but with lower reliability, handling and fire-rate.
* The 9x19 upgrade now makes proper changes, such as more damage, more recoil, better bullet distance and speed and the like.
Variant 2 is the "Fort-17" itself, with improved model smoothing and a slightly better texture. Credits go to "Vostok Games".
- In terms of balance, it is lighter, faster firing more reliable than the Fort-12, but also has slightly worse accuracy and recoil.
- You can find this weapon commonly, if anyone has a Fort-12, he might have had a Fort-17 instead.
Variant 3 is the "Fort-21.01", in other words, a copy of the Jericho 941. Thanks to "ajuhorov"!
- For balance, this one only uses the 9x19 and it can upgrade to .45 ACP. It is the fastest firing 9x19 (and possibly .45 ACP) pistol one can get, as well as having fantastic stats similar to the CZ-75. It also has a peculiarly made tritium.
- Rare gun, only obtainable from Nimble or Meek.
--- Glock 19 ---
Now uses "Glock 17" for the first variant, taken from Insurgency Sandstorm's Alpha. Thanks to the company "New World Interactive"!
- Also, said variant has two changes for the upgrades:
Instead of 3-burst, it changes to full-auto. This unofficially turns it into a Glock 18.
Instead of 9x18, it changes to .45 ACP. This pretty much turns it into a Glock 21.
Variant 2 remains the same, Glock 19, but had its diffuse, normal and specular maps heavily improved, also fixed smoothing errors.
- Also made balance changes; it's a bit lighter, has 15 clip instead of 17, better handling, slightly better accuracy and worse recoil. Also has very subtle night sights.
Variant 3 is now a HS2000. Thanks to the company "Croteam"!
- For balance changes, it is the heaviest (still lower than others non-)Glock-type pistol you can get, has 16 rounds, lowest recoil of all "Glocks" and best accuracy (except when rapid-firing). Also has subtle reddish tritium optics. Its only negative is worse reliability.
For general balance changes, Glocks have low accuracy and terrible reliability, but great continuous recoil, firerate and handling, making them perfect for close-quarters combat.
--- GSh-18 ---
- Smoothing errors fixed.
- Normal Map fixed, also remade Specular Map to make the metal (slider) look like metal and the plastic look a bit worn.
- Remade the texture for both pistols so they're completely unique:
* First variant is a "clean" finish with white sights.
* Second variant is a slate-red finish with high-contrast sights and a subtle red tritium.
- Rebalanced, it is now a more accurate, higher capacity (18 vs 16) and faster-firing Walther, but also has less handling, slightly worse recoil (especially horizontal), is slightly more expensive and has less reliability.
- Second variant now has the same stats as the default, so it's a matter of choice of looks and if the sights have tritium or not.
--- MP-443 Grach ---
[OVERHAULED]
- Model has been switched with a much better one.
- Textures redone to fit STALKER better. Using Specular that should give the pistol a metallic look (except on the grip itself, which is plastic).
- Now has Tritium Sights by default, the backsights with a subtle yellow while the front a complete green.
--- OTs-33 Pernach ---
- Now uses a much better lighter texture & normal map. Includes some nice matte ironsight paint and has visible color on the firemode indicators.
- Intricate tritium sights added, a bright red front and a very subtle dark green on the rear.
- Now uses much better animations from PM instead of the very basic, robotic vanilla ones.
- Rebalanced it so it's almost a direct upgrade of the APS, the only negative is much worse reliability.
--- PB (Or 6P9) ---
- Models have been optimized, it was at 20k tris, now it's at 10k tris with favourable quality.
- "Custom" variant has a new texture and normal map, to make it look like actually new but still a bit worn. (Do note the reddish tint on the silencer is intentional)
- To add a bit more appeal to the gun, the "Custom" variant now has functional Tritium.
* Some minor balance changes were made for the "Custom" variant, including having way more accuracy, faster firing and no longer having the 3-burst upgraded by default.
--- PM ---
Upgrade Scheme has had balance changes:
* RPM increase for both upgrades is now 15% instead of 10%.
* 3-burst now has much faster fire when using said firemode, instead of a surprisingly slow one.
* 9x19 upgrade now has proper balance changes, such as...Increased damage, lower magazine size, higher recoil, extremely high reliability decrease, etc. (HINT: It is better to upgrade the PMM with this than the PM)
- Texture for the default Makarov has been heavily improved; Better metal shade, better grip shade, "red parts" are metal and now shine as such, bullets have proper shine to it, better sharper details and much better color overall.
- PMM has a much better, brand new look, but still with some wear and tear.
* Balance changes include the gun actually having more bullet distance and speed as it says on the description. It's overall a direct upgrade to the PM, except for the weight and fire-rate.
* Makarov PM model has been fixed; safety lever is down, trigger is a bit further. Third-person model had its smoothing fixed and further optimized.
Variant 2 "Custom" is now a Walther PPK instead, chambered in 9x18 Makarov. The idea is that it's a "Western Makarov" type better fit for "Sharpshooters" due to its high accuracy but low handling and magazine size.
--- Sig Sauer P220 ---
[OVERHAULED]
The Sig Sauer is now three types of different pistols; The original P220, the compact P229 and the "futuristic" (for Anomaly standards) P320.
- P220 uses the same model, which is SAM61's, with much better Diffuse, Normal and Specular Maps textures. It's based on the "German" version with aluminium alloy frame and blued stainless steel slide, also has high-contrast sights.
- P229 is the second variant, a model made by NanouJunem, so all credits to him. This is a more compact and metallic variant of the P220, also has subtle tritium sights.
- Since this pistol can only be chambered in 9x19 Parabellum, it uses said ammunition, this includes balance changes to it such as lower damage, more accuracy and less recoil.
- P320 is the unique variant only obtainable from Nimble, model made by "Michael Egorov", so all credits to him. A modern pistol in Anomaly standards, has tritium sights.
- Also, this unique variant is chambered in 9x19 Parabellum by default, but can be changed to .45 ACP. Said change also changes the magazine, damage and recoil.
--- Stechkin APS ---
- Improved the texture by adding better detail, such as...Blueing of the metal, addition of Copper parts such as the Hammer and Firemode Selector, firemode selection dots, bullets use steel case.
- Fixed the normal map, it was using a broken one.
- Heavily improved the specular, the metal now shines like proper worn metal and the grip has a subtle polymer shade.
- Fixed the barrel cover not moving with the slide.
For balance changes, it has the same recoil pattern as the CZ-75 AUTO but a bit lower.
--- Takarov TT-33 ---
Variant 1 is now a proper Soviet-era Takarov TT-33, made Post-1941. This basically means it uses dark plastic grip, has dark metal and markings fit for 1942 manufacture. All credits go to "Paul Yakushev".
- Now shares animations with the 1911, it makes more sense than it sharing with the Fort-12.
Also TT-33 has been rebalanced, it's now accurate with controllable recoil but has very low handling.
Variant 2 is the "Zastava M57", Yugoslavian variant of the TT-33 that is a semi-direct upgrade of the TT-33, having 9 rounds instead of 8 and some other improvements.
- One major change is the fact it can have the caliber changed to 9x19, which comes with balance changes.
--- USP ---
[OVERHAULED]
- USP just got a new, much better model by "voronin-37", credits to him.
- Variant 2 of the USP is now a "USP Compact". A true classic from the STALKER series games, it is an alternative to the USP that shoots faster and has less weight, but slightly worse recoil and accuracy. Credits go to "alankailei" .
- Variant 3 is a Tactical USP, with dual-tone black plastic frame and blued slide, pretty much a direct upgrade of the USP except for the weight, handling and fire-rate. Also has orange-tinted tritium and can have silencer installed without an upgrade. All credits go to "VOID Interactive", creators of "Ready or Not".
- Variant 4 (Nimble) is a Mark 23, made by "Axel Kraefft", so all credits to him. This one combines the best of all the USPs, but has worst handling, firerate and weight.
--- Walther P99 ---
[OVERHAULED]
- Uses a much better model & textures, made by "zooki", all credits go to him.
* Default variant is equipped with a titanium-coated slide and black frame. It has more signs of Wear & Tear on the Grip than on the Slide.
* Second variant is black slide with Olive Drab Green frame, German Markings and a "deluxe" tritium. It is slightly cleaner and less worn than the default variant, at least on the Grip, the Slide is a bit unkempt.
- Both pistols have been rebalanced:
* Now has some actual recoil, also has the best handling of any other pistol to compensate for the low accuracy.
* Both pistols are also exactly the same now, with the "custom" variant only having slightly better reliability. This makes it an option based on what you think is prettier.
___________
KNOWN ISSUES
___________
* Your "old" weapon might still use the old magazine, which might be more or less. It's okay, the next time you need to reload it will actualize to the current one.
(An example would be the "USP Custom" which is now the "USP Compact".)
* Kimber Colt will have the icon missing, this is because it has been removed in 1.5.2, please update to 1.5.2
___________
COMPATIBILITY
___________
* There is a slight incompatibility with "Boomsticks & Sharpsticks", namely the Five-SeveN. If you want the PPP FN57, you need to load PPP last, if not, load B&S last.
Be mindful that if you're already using BaS in a save, it's recommended you don't use PPP's FN57.
Not fully compatible with mods that change the pistols.
There will be a file called "upgrade_presets.tlx" that might conflict with other weapons, it's okay, the file is shared across all.

[F.A.Q./FAQ]
- "Is this compatible with Mags Redux?"
Yes, you only have to download the mod itself and get the patch, right from the mod itself. Here's a direct link: Github.com
- "My guns are too shiny!"
The guns were made with gloss_factor 5.0 in mind, Enhanced Shaders further improves it but might make the guns too bright or even shinier.
Some may be shiny intentionally.
If you still have issues, tell me which and send a PM with a screenshot.
- "My game crashes because of this mod"
Please refer to the 4th comment in here, [REGARDING CRASH ISSUES]
- "Will there be further updates?"
Yes, there are some models that are not good, unfinished or boring, so they will have a change.
It might be as small as a texture change, or as big as a texture & model change, maybe even the whole concept of the gun.
Much later updates will make an attempt to add guns instead of replace.
- "Will this get an AI Upscale or something?"
No. Make one yourself but don't upload it to the public.
- "Can I make my own custom textures for it and publish it?"
This is how you must do it:
Do NOT get the whole mod, leave it be, make a texture for anything and publish it as you want, but also make sure that PPP is required.
Asking for permission is not required, simply make sure PPP is a dependency.
- "Kimber has no icon!"
This is a weapon removed in 1.5.2, so go ahead and update to 1.5.2

[REGARDING CRASH ISSUES]
Is your game crashing? You have two methods to fix it.
The first one, thanks to Ishmaeel, is done via script. MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS BEFORE INSTALLING PPP. (Although it might work either way)
* Install this script, put it in "gamedata/scripts": Pastebin.com
IMPORTANT! Make sure you remove the .txt at the end so it formats into a .script
* Load the save game that you want to purge.
* Press CTRL-F8. Some items will be deleted and a new save game will be created.
* Close game, install PPP, relaunch, enjoy.
Second method is more rudimentary:
First of all, find every pistol you have stashed, especially for disassembly and those that have upgrades, then disassemble them.
Second of all, restock the trader inventory, simply find yourself a safe bed, set the minimum restock to 12 and sleep past 13 hours.
You shouldn't have random weird crashes that way.

Copias la carpeta sobre gamedata e instalas provaks bro ;)
Provak's no es requerido para que este addon funcione.
Era broma bro, como para que instalaria provaks en primer lugar lol

This is awesome man! Great work! Can´t wait to get my hands on the Mark 23, I´ve always wanted to have it in Anomaly
I was testing out your mod, and it's really impressive how you've managed to get the sights to work. Some feedback I might be able to give is it's currently incompatible with Anomaly Magazines Redux (Latest Github Release 2/21/22) due to the balancing changes you've made, both regarding magazine size, calibre, and ammo count.
As well, Beef's Shader Based NVG's v1.1.1, if using night vision the pistols with tritium sights will cause enough bloom to obscure whatever you would be shooting at. Not technically an incompatibility, but I figured it would be useful to mention it. And lastly, I'm unsure if it's an issue with manual installation or a conflict elsewhere, but the MP443 Grach in-game has lost its model entirely, showing only as invisible while equipped/unholstered. All the testing was done on Dx11 with Enhanced Shaders and Colour Grading and SSR, shader cache cleared.
"Magazines Redux" is not something I will make a patch for, but if anyone wants to make it and it works, they're free to do so.
I'd consider Beef's NVGs a bonus instead of a bug, but I'm surprised that even subtle tritium sights would do that.
I think the issue with the MP443 might be related to Blindside's animations, try uninstalling that one and see if it works.
Even then, it wouldn't make sense because I remember he made it so the weapons still use the same "bones", meaning it will work with any model as long as the bones are the same and in this case they are.
Nice PP, bro.
poggers, but since i use EFT weapon reposition, is necessary to install the ltx weapon files for the weapons? or is just an extra?, i dont want to tweak the hud of all of them all day non stop tbh xd
Sorry, but using the .ltx files from PPP is necessary.
If you can make an EFT-Repo patch, I can add it to the mod.
Just use DLTX bro
Moddb.com
is your addon compatible with addon "EFT Reposition"?
No, if you want to make a patch I will put it in the mod.
Once again, the god of weaponry bless us with high quality firearms!
Pee Pee Pee
This is amazing Strogglet. I LOVE YOU. No **** tho.
Btw if you are looking for weapon models, make sure you check out Survarium. That game is pretty much a COD set in the Stalker universe, so most of their guns are totally fit with Stalker. And as I know, their server will be shutdown within a few months, so you probably won't need to worry about those DMCA stuffs.
Not a bad idea, but I don't know how to acquire or extract models from Survavium, maybe there is a "repository" available?
The devolopers just annouced they can't take care of the game at this moment because they are getting bombed by the russians, so I guess people might soon be extracting their assets and share them.
Feels kinda guilty tho
Oh, and I just realized there's another game which also contains a huge amount of weapon and attachment models, the Payday 2.
But I'm not sure if Overkill Studio will be happy to see other people using their models. Plus, most of the weapon textures are too "clean", like there's no scratch or stain on the weapon, which is not very fit with Stalker's atmosphere.
Good Job my friend! ^-^
Oh yeah 🙂 thanks ✌️
Nice mod, maybe a few patches for popular addons would be nice
i could do myself a patch for EFT weapon reposition but man, is a hard work to do just the sheer amount of hud tweak needed for every gun is tedious, i leave it to someone else to be honest
What I need to do in order to make said patch for EFT Repo? Is there any tools that may help me make the job easier?
knowledge of modding the hud of the guns in-game and tweaking the crosshairs of the guns along with the center of the screen, is easy but requires a lot of test and time. But with this addon it can be less time consuming and way less tedious so i highly recommend to use it if you want to do a EFT weapon reposition patch. Moddb.com
Don't forget to use Draggable HUD to ease all this senseless pain:
Moddb.com
a modder of culture as well.
EFT compatible patch is getting harder and harder now. I hope the author have a look at this.
EDIT: I saw you uploaded an EFT patch. However, I found many guns have bad iron sight alignment. I know it's a tedious process but the patch is incomplete. Btw I can't see the texture for the 443 Grach for some reason.
I tested all the pistols ONCE AGAIN, they all work perfectly fine(except walther, but nevermind that). From only "can't see Grach's texture" I can assume you're playing with Blindside's addon - this might be the problem for bad alignments as well.
Yeah didn't think Blindside could be a problem. Lot's of people use both blindside and EFT repo so I'm sure a patch for both of them would help many people. Anomaly modding rn is so damn annoying when you have 4,5 "must-have" overhauls that make compatibility a problem for big addons like this. You either make it on top of those addons, and s̶o̶m̶e̶w̶h̶a̶t̶ force players to download those first. Or make it fresh off vanilla Anomaly, so new players can access the addon quickly, but in turns make compatibility a painful ordeal
i have the problem with grach too is seems like is a problem related to EFT weapon reposition, i think the animation is just bugged in its place or the hud of the pistol is ****** up for some reason.
Very pretty pistols!!
Nice work, solid addon.
Very interesting, but i need to wait until someone make a patch for Mag Redux. Also, a question: it's combatiple with Grook Ballistic Overhauls? Because you have changed some pistols values, but also Grok make many changes to recoil, accuracy etcetera.
Of course it is compatible with "Ballistics Overhaul" by default.
Also I believe a "Mags Redux" patch is being worked on.
Very good! I'll put this page on my favourite, so i'll check time to time until the mag redux patch is ready. And for load order, before or after Ballistik Overhaul?
Load order is meaningless since neither have any conflicting files, so don't worry about that.
Thanks!
