A late war design, the Hutt Tactical Battleship is the culmination of Hutt ship research and design. Utilizing the best technology from all previous Hutt ship designs and scavenged New Republic wreckage, the HTB feature a large ventral hangar, stronger shields, 8 concussion missile launchers, a mix of mass driver, blaster, medium turbolaser technology while also featuring a rear mounted ventral imperial dual heavy beam laser turret and numerous dual medium ion cannons. While smaller than its predecessor, the Hutt Destroyer, the Tactical Battleship features more than enough firepower to easily destroy an MC80 cruiser.

Making a hutt ship is very hard....
With an alternate storyline to allow the Hutt player to win victory over the galaxy, stronger hutt warships were needed to allow the hutt player to compete against the New Republic and its Star Destroyers. A late war development, the Hutt Tactical Battleship features the best of Hutt technology combined with Imperial/Republic tech such as the incorporation of Ion weaponry and lasers.

the massive dual heavy turbolasers on the Hutt ships are the equivalent of Imperial/Republic heavy turbolasers, yet their larger size allows for more hitpoints due to their heavily armored housings. The Hutt Tactical Battleship feature 11 of these compared to the MC80's 6 dual heavy turbolasers and 8 dual heavy beam lasers.
I don't care if it fares well against the New Republic, Empire, or Vong ships well. All I care if it burns well and if I can bring marshmallows. In fact this is how much I see how you guys should place importance on the ships 5% looks, 5% battle capability and 90% its going to burn like there is no tomorrow with tons of orgasmic explosions.
Once again, the YVAW team delivers a very impressive ship.

Question, do Hutts actually operate these ships or do they have a mercenary force do all the hard shipboard labor
each hutt warship is equipped with a lavish throne room for its commanding Hutt, but the ship itself is crewed by hired mercenaries and slave labor.
Forgive my lack of knowledge, but was there any able Hutt military commandar in star wars history? For some reason I find that hard to picture.
Kossak the Hutt defeated warlord Xim, and on Pinterest there is artwork of a hutt commander leading an attack on the Vong from a sail barge.

The ships are adequately sized, for remember, they must fight against such larger sized capital ships as the Allegiance Star Destroyer, Blue Diver, Strident and MC85: Moddb.com
