OK, this is probably our last Witch Hunters version. The name, is self-explanatory, this version is expanded by the 3D magic of our brother Kekoulis! Man, I cannot thank you enough!!

Greetings fellow loyal Sisters fans.Apothecary Kekoulis here.

It is with great joy that we finally present you with what we consider the last version of the Witch Hunters.

As an aspiring 3D modder,it has been a huge honour to be able to work with Friedric_P's original beyond words masterpiece and do my best to fix the last remaining issues(mostly the aiming issues that Iron Lore broken code has caused-something that does not exist in DC,as no aircraft is in there) and some smaller technical fixes hear and there that you wouldn't notice anyways. And of course,the new units,which have been created with outmost respect to the original vision and art direction that many members of our community have been asking for.

However,while this version has my name(because Gambit wanted to differentiate it from the previous and we needed a code name-and he wanted to thank me),most credit must go to the original team that made the mod become a reality in the first place and of course,to the code prodigy,Gambit,who alone coded this whole thing and kickstarted into the age of Soulstorm modding.

From the deepest of our hearts,we hope with this mod version we not only honour the original dream but also give you a complete experience that you will enjoy wholeheartily.

Kekoulis Encouragement, keep updating this mod if you have time, they make the perfect opponet for Emperors Children
Wish there was a way to replace Sisters with this side in the main gaime as Witch Hunters has Sisters plus "We are the Law!"

Unification has also added "Judge Dredd" type character, I do not know if you can update with that, etc, Unification, while amazing, is a megagig install monster (20.+ Gig install) and sometimes one just wants to quick match without all the load times.

SteamMod all standalone race mods development has been merged in Unification. We no longer develop standalone releases. As a number of fact, all of the new Witch Hunter and EC developments over Uni were made by me as well.

Indeed Unification is big but for a good reason. We also offer mirrors like MEGA and Mediafire on our server if they can service you better.

Regardless, I am very glad you like these two races. It means a lot to me.

I've been trying to run the Witch Hunter 2.6 mod on my Steam version of Soulstorm. I was able to get it to work, once. Every other time, it has failed to load. I've downloaded the latest Objective Points and FreeUI and installed them. I still can't get it working. I've tried deleting the Witchhunter files and reinstalling them all with no success. This is the part of the warning file that I think is pointing to the problem:

Basically this mod is for the Non-Steam Version....
I just tried figuring this out myself and took a look at the Steam-Game Files.
What they did in the Steam Version: They packed all files into a few SGA Files, you can open them sure but its incompatible...
The Old Game operated differently i believe.

2 Things.
A) I'm stupid. Could someone please explain how to get the redeemer and the easter eggs (saints, shield maidens, dreadnaught, etc). I saw in the options they come "At a time of need" whatever that means? I have never seen them in the times I've played the race nor seen the opportunity to build them.
B) It's a big order, but is there anyone who could build a picture of the tech tree for this race. It would help a lot, imo. I've seen a few images on Deviant Art of a mod manual for the race that was supposedly gonna be built but it never was.

Otherwise, love the mod as always.

1.) There is a rule at the beginning which if selected/ticked,it enables said units to be produced at any time.
If left as is,these units are trainable only when certain requirements are met.If you wish to test them right now,just tick it.The LR and the Dreadnaught is available at the Sororitas path.
The Shield Maidens at the Inquisition.
There are also two units that need very specific requirements.
If needed,I can post spoilers,but you have been warned.
2.)Unfortunately,we can't do that,as it is a bit too big. :/
But in short,it goes as:
Arbiters HQ->Covenant->Reliquary of Faith(Tier II)->Sororitas Armorium/Inquistion Chamber(branch unlock)->Holy Light research at the reliquary(Tier III)->Imperial Communications(Tier IV).

Each branch has its own tech tree(units and researches).So,our suggestion would be to play a bit to discover for yourself,so as you may pick from first hand experience which side you prefer. :)

Thanks for reaching out. As not to spoil it for other users, if you could PM the spoilers, I would appreciate it. I don't play the game enough for it to happen on its own, and I would prefer to know what tools are in my arsenal rather than hoping certain things appear. For pros like you, this stuff is obvious and keeping track of what caused what is easy, but for me- not so much. I suck at rts games, heh, so I would rather just be told because I'm unlikely to even put 2 and 2 together even if I did manage to gain access to the units.

As for the tech tree, the building unlocks aren't the problem, it's I start getting lost around the later tiers but that is on me. If I went through the trouble of converting the unit button files I could probably build the tree. Maybe I'll do it in a few months.

it's a mixed army: your tier 0 units are adeptus arbites, your tier I-IV are SOB, also there are some assassins (eversor & callidus) while the UA sororitas are quite exclusively SOB units
