The Witch Hunters: Adepta Sororitas mod version 2.2 for Soulstorm is ready! Use the Adeptus Arbites and the Adepta Sororitas in the fight against the Great Enemy. REQUIRES FreeUI and Objective Points mods to play! (OBSOLETE Version)
Installation
Witch Hunters v2.2 requires two other mods (mandatory) in order to run:
- First, brother jONES'es Objective Points mod: Forums.revora.net
- Second, brother Miros'es FreeUI mod (version 1.36 or later): Forums.relicnews.com
- OPTIONAL Third Download: In order to seamlessly combine Witch Hunters with other race mods, you MUST use the latest Unification mod, otherwise you will encounter many error and issues.

So just unpack the Objective Points mod, the FreeUI mod and the Witch Hunters mod, and start it normally from the Mod Manager. Done!
NOTE: ALWAYS MAKE A CLEAN INSTALL OF THE MODS (anew, deleting the folders of previous versions) !!! You must re-download FreeUI - version 1.36 is required.
Also remember, Witch Hunters is for SoulStorm ONLY.

Fixes/Additions
- NEW: FreeUI support. Adds some visual goodies to the faction (for example, the charge icon of the repressor is no longer that of the Squiggoth, the shielding ability of the Arbites is no longer "entrench", etc.)
- AI: Updated placement method for two structures.
- AI: Many tactics updated. Some were problematic.
- There was a serious issue with the Turrets of the HQ. Once you were building the addons, they were enabled for ALL buildings, even if the turrets were NOT show on the model. Fixed.
- There was a slight requirement issue with the the Inquisitor Command Squad.
- There was a wrong leader entry in the Repentia Squad, possibly leading to CTDs. Removed.
- Army Painter list was depicting the Imagifier model wrongly.
- Updated Colour Schemes. Fixed Badges (they were not present at all). Some Banners also updated.
- Updated Hospitaler model (whe) to include more appropriate sounds (courtesy of brother Hollow).
- Added shadows to all entities of the army (some were not using the shadowmap). Warning: the Exorcist and the HQ models give CTDs if shadow type 3 is enabled - and possibly some other entities. Tried to keep that to the safest possible config.
- Placing sizes of buildings updated (no build buffer), so that to avoid vehicles being stuck.
- EBPs sizes of some units were problematic.
- Callidus evasion ability was not using the callidus armour system. Fixed.
Balance Changes
- Rhino and Repressor armour types changed from vehicle_low to vehicle_med.
- Rhino cost and recruitment time, reduced.
- Eversor Assassin rendered immune to poison.
- Assassins made more efficient (damage resistance).
- Repentia squad accidentally had very low morale recharge (3). Set it to 12.
- Flamer turrets now damage nearby enemies on destruction.
Other
- Repentia squad now got transport extension (transport_infantry) for Strongholds Mod purposes. (Note that the Arcoflagellant squad also has the same identical extension.) This has no impact at all at skirmish gaming of course, but optimises Strongholds support for Witch Hunters race (thanks brother Kasrkin!).

i can get the WH to work For new factions for UA but this new version doesnt wanna show the factions in the list when choosing a faction in skirmish nore muliplayer
Man, to include a race in UA, requires some moddig work...
Simply adding it, is not always guaranteed.

I spotted something while playing, the Inquisitor Command squad doesn't melee anymore? is that normal?
WHAT????
Wait, you mean the AI? If so, the Canoness is the melee commander, while the Inquisitor Command squad plays the "ranged" role by default, unless melee-engaged of course.
So it is as designed.
But if you had issues playing the WH faction yourself, then ... "Huston, we have a problem!"

Yup! I will do a retest again later today, but yes, it was in range for a melee attack, but they didn't knife any of them while the previous version I let Inquisitor and the Canoness ran free to engage in CQC. the reason I notice it was because I used Inquisitor as early melee, but they didn't thats how I realised.
OH! btw, is the banner working now? previous ver, the banner belongs to the Orks. I lol abit at that, like I said, I'll do a retest later.
Rest easy m8, They melee but not like the previous version where they go all out bashing. The banner seems to be working at least for one faction of the WH. I'll test out the rest when I can to see if they all have their respective faction banner. Oh! HNY!
I made a clean install and tested on its own and with Unification, the UI for Repressor ability is still the Squiggoth Rampage
Make sure you unpack the SS Objective file into the right place as well, just to be sure.
Impossible. When you say "clean install", did you COMPLETELY delete the previous WH folder? If not, the old files will mess things up.
And did you use the LATEST FreeUI and Unification versions?
Hey guys awhile back i had a problem find WH in UA mod well i fixed my problem. i just grabbed the art folder for WH from objective points ss an added it to objective points UA.
works for UA now ;)
