Vanilla Enhanced is a mod dedicated to single-player and small MP games. The map has been retouched to keep it light while making it more historically accurate.
Main features:
- New countries were added to make the gameplay more interesting (Old Ottoman Empire, Bulgaria-Romania, Banda Oriental, and many more).
- Added a lot of key historical events (Hungarian revolution, January uprising).
- More events and decisions for almost any country (Non-historical and historical).
- A new way to carve up an empire (through mandates).
- Some Taylor Swift references.
- Different expansion paths to make MP games spicier.
- A map of Empires Dismantled (alpha version).
So, this does not aim to be the most historically accurate mod out there but to make the game fun and light.

What is the mandate thing all about?
When an empire is dismantled, mandates start to pop up for the player to annex or distribute them among other players. It is a way to organize colonial gains in MP's. It still needs polishing, but for now, it works fine :P

You could put a decision or event for Peru to be a German colony or a new formable country, this idea was taken from wikipedia since according to it in 1867 a Prussian / German immigrant named Karl Lamp arrived in Peru and settled in Cusco, quickly became he won the support of the indigenous communities that proclaimed him as vira choca, data to be rescued, he restored polygamy and obtained a commitment to many women in the area, he carried out a revolution against Peru in (1876 - 1880). He used to move to Europe in the shortest time, with the express purpose of negotiating with Otto Von Bismarck and obtaining German support to be able to govern Peru.
i wonder if there is some underground cult in a gay forest worshiping what if in one very specific moment peru just stopped being independent and became a german kaiserboo colony there is too many comments like this to be a coincidence(i dont even know why i try)
