Tiberium Dusk is a re-imagining of the Kane's Wrath universe in a way I feel better fits canon, as EA did a pretty poor job with the C&C franchise continuity from Tiberium Wars onwards. This mod doesn't change anything with regards to the story but helps add elements to the gameplay that "fill the gaps" and provide a more Tiberian Sun esque experience (including all its flaws and unbalances) and departs away from the Kane's Wrath RTS formula. Still a work in progress, I've made changes to the AI (buffed turtle AI and made brutals harder), made changes to "Militant Squads" which make them work with the timeline of the franchise, changed the "Nod" faction entirely with a new name, as Kane's Wrath "Nod" works more of a splinter faction rather than a true "Brotherhood"; with Marked of Kane being the new face of the faction. There are also numerous changes to GDI and Scrin, especially Reaper 17 and Steel Talons, which make them play significantly differently.

Steel Talons always had basic infantry with no infantry upgrades and no commando. Now that this faction has a commando, things could get interesting.

Yup. ^^

GDI is seeing a bit of a headcanon rewrite to explain the changes within the mod.

Essentially Steel Talons is the same GDI army that you play as in Tiberian Sun and as such carries over most of the technology you can remember from there.

GDI is essentially the NATO of the whole initiative, they take bits and pieces of each faction whilst fielding their own unique army of trained soldiers. (Mostly classic themed, in the latest video I uploaded you can see Classic Commando)

ZOCOM is more futuristic but still needs some work imo. :)

For example: GDI has seen the vanilla Railguns changed to be "rail-cannons" which are basically rail-assisted traditional cannons, as GDI's way of saving money on Steel Talons technology.

Steel Talons now have actual classic railguns now which I've made unique sfx for, which is an attempt to merge the heavy railgun sound of Tibsun with a the more modern sounding railguns of Tiberium Wars.

Nod factions also have some changes like above as well. :)

I do aim to eventually have an ideal melding of C&C1; Tiberian Sun and C&C3; gameplay, but its quite aways off from that yet.

Description

Introducing the Ghost Stalker, slightly upgraded from his Tiberian Sun appearance, the Ghost Stalker wears heavy body armor but keeps his his fleshy mutated wrists exposed to the elements, he also has a very green visor.

Like the Tiberian Sun counterpart he's armed with a heavy railgun, features classic voices, heals in tiberium and has C4 explosive.

He's one of the first in a new line of "commandos" being completely reworked, and is used exclusively by Steel Talons.
