SGWC Unofficial Patch 0.1d
Full Version 3 commentsCI Games changed some GUI stuff which broke the previous hit markers fix. Corrected.
While it is far more polished than its predecessor, Contracts has its fair share of bugs, both new and inherited from SGW3. This project aims to fix as many issues as possible, with the hope that CI Games will shamelessly copypaste these fixes to make their game better.

[OUTDATED: WILL RELEASE NEW BUILD FOR PATCH 1.03] Initial release. Fixes key rebinding issues, laser sight rendering issues, graphics configuration issues...
Contracts may be much more polished and stable than SGW3 as the overall format, but boy does it feel like a huge stylistic downgrade: it's a lot more cheesy and gamey, with much worse body physics, hilariously ugly looking scopes (they were AMAZING in 3) and interfaces and general level of style approximating the worst kind of generic mishmash of ubisoft and other over the top low-brow gaming. It's a shame they changed the direction so much.
Whomever looked at the permanent ****-stream bullet-drop projection in the scope and said "Yes, this is great" should rethink their career choices along with the dimwit responsible for control binding scheme which is more buggy and clusterfucked than CDPR's cyberpunk. And that's saying something.
What happened to games? 20 years ago game designers knew how to do basic things such as coding binding schemes in such a way that they don't fold onto themselves the moment you want to rebind a few keys away from the default.

I got too busy to keep this mod up to date, but I might revisit it in the near future.
I miss the scope sights like in sniper ghost warrior 3 with wind assist and without the line blinking with the drop bullet.
Any chance to turn off aim assist in the scope playing in normal or a hotkey for enable - disable the line with drop bullet?
I find the animated line reticle very distracting.
It was updated on January 2021! Are you going to update mod?
Thanks for all
Hey, dude
I tried to look for the UI and HUD elements for the game and it is in the gamedata.pak file, but however I tried I couldn't open the xml, and gfx files with anything.
Would it be possible to somehow disable all of the HUD elements in the game? like mini-map, health bar etc.
I know they implemented it to SGW 3 after many many updates later..
So somehow it might be possible to make a menu in-which you can customize which elements does the HUD show.
Check: Nohud.fandom.com
It lets you toggle the HUD on/off with caps lock. However it only works if you launch the game directly from its directory, the .exe in winx64. (that way EAC wont load in and block it). I think steam needs to be active though, but didnt test that.
I would NOT recommend installing this mod on the 1.6 version of the game (which adds multiplayer) until the potential effects of anti-cheat can be determined.
Please be aware that the hit markers removal option is currently bugged.
Hi, any chance to turn off aim assist in the scope? SGW3 had option to disable that for higher difficulty. Problem is the new scope does not have marks on the reticle - it's just not meant to be used without assist. Any ideas?
I am in the same boat . I miss scope option from SGW3
I find the animated reticle (the line with the drop bullet) a lot of distracting
