This adds a few things to the first Rabid's Crap and brings it closer to my ultimate vision for Doom, and each subsequent file released adds even more, so check out the descriptions of all of them for details and progress! Still a few things to work on, but we're getting there! New in 2.0: -The player now casts a shadow via the code found in Brutal Doom. Looks down and you'll see it. -The Playpal and Colormap from Brutal Doom 64 have been added (credit goes to SgtMarkIV for this and the addition above. -The color definitions from the JagDoom TC have been added (credit goes to Scalliano and Dragonsbrethren). -The sounds from Doom64 have been added (credit goes to Kaiser and Footman). Do what you want with this mod. Anyone who would like to may modify it, use it as a base, share it, whatever. Just give credit where credit is due.

Rabid's Crap adds some stunning new features even though I still feel like it's a generation behind. Brightmaps have been added for textures, a couple voxels from Reikall's Doom 64 voxel pack replace sprites that there aren't hires Doom 64 alternatives for, you can now see your legs when you look down (effect taken from Project Brutality), there is Doom 64 sound caulking from Jaxxoon R's mod, and I've added some powerup effects (floatbob, blursphere sprite fades to translucency and back, blursphere turns the screen blue and invulnerability uses goldmap). This mod will continue to add new features and improve the ones it has, and it will be the most advanced to date...eventually. In the meantime, enjoy v5.0!
