Summary
Project Far Cry was started as complete remake of the original Far Cry game. The mod's best feature is not only a remake, but total reconstruction of all the levels, assets and story.
Project cancellation
The last time of development (in 2012) the project was awaiting the Demo version release for CryEngine2 (Crysis) and further development on CryEngine 3 a stand-alone game.
We really wanted to port this mod on CryENGINE 3 as a Free indie game, but due to the lack of support and the negative reviews, we decided to cancel the project.
Demo Release
However as a team we wish to finish the promised Demo version and release it so that the work we did will not be lost forever. We will post the updates when we will be ready. Thank you for understanding.
