The aim of this mod is get the best out of the graphics of this classic game, but make it as natural as possible. This means overprocessed shaders won't be added. The mod contains all of the best available textures and a unique System.cfg, optimized for 2,5K and 4K downsampling. The mod also contains a tweak guide and adds hotkeys to the nanosuit functions. You need to have a 64-bit system and a good graphics card to run it. Please make sure to follow the installation instruction that comes with the mod.

does this mod only edit the textures? Am I fine with downloading this with blackfire? I only want the texture edits since I'm lazy to find texture mods individually, this mod seems nice tho

Great modification! Optimizing also (ingenious): D
I combined this mod with zz_CryZENxShaders.pak 8.26mb + zz_XtremeFX.pak 1.33mb it looks incredibly smooth and runs smoothly, on the map "AMC-Amazonia_River / GDC06 / Jungle and river" Image fluidity and clarity available. To this I added Mod brings back weapons and HUD from alpha version of Crysis + Tactical_Expansion_Mod_V1.1. Everything works good. I added \ Materials \ ocean "watervolumreal" great immersion :) THX!

I have a question, maybe you know some good gore-mode for Crysis? I already had GORE CRYSIS / Cry-Hard_Mod_Compilation but none of them offered to dismantle bodies like in Soldier of Fortune 1/2 ... I found Dismemberment Mod but it only by crysis editor. ..

I know your comment is old, but I think what I'm gonna say might be useful, so I'll share it. The following is stated in the instructions of the Crysis Enhanced mod:

"This mod is meant to be used with the 32 bit version of the game, as the 64 bit is globally unstable with custom textures and objects."

How is this relevant to the issue at hand? Well, I was running the Crysis Maximum Immersion mod, which features custom textures and objects, with the 64 bit executable (Crysis\Bin64\Crysis.exe) and the game would crash every 15 mins or so. It wasn't crashing before while running the vanilla game. Even if Crysis Enhanced is way more demanding than Crysis Maximum Immersion, it still only functions properly with the 32 bit executable. So I thought, "Why not try running the 32 bit executable (Crysis\Bin32\Crysis.exe) with Crysis Maximum Immersion to see if it's actually more stable?". And boy, I was able to test the game for around 40 mins with no crashes.

So, for everybody that is struggling to keep the game running with graphics mods without crashing, try the 32 bit executable. It might fix the problem.

Hope this helps!

Cheers!
