Adds a reimagined version of Legio~Cybernetica (adapted from my old unfinished winter assault mod) to Dawn of War SoulStorm, Prepare for something a little more unique this time as we go back and adapt some stuff from Chapter Approved Second Edition, get ready to program some robots and let them autonomously destroy your enemies, and because over the years I've actually got more annoyed with how the Forge-world miniatures destroyed Cybernetica's uniqueness by removing their subtle biotic augmetics and making them just like the normal Mechanicus, No more Mecadendrites except for use as weaponry or as a decorative status symbol to show rank

until everything's implemented here is a very brief summery (this is the second time I wrote this today since the last one didn't upload, and it will be worse than last time)
upon selecting a Robot Maniple it's program will become visible in place of the normal squad control UI
selecting sections of the program will allow you to select conditions (under fire, idle, etc), behaviours (attack, move, capture point, etc.), locations/targets(world position, squad, entity), and some other behaviour related stuff, once accepted the robots will begin to autonomously perform their tasks until their program is changed

Seems like I can't have it appearing in both (I could have sworn it used to be possible, when it's closer to being ready I'll switch it over to show in Dawn Of War (and maybe see if I can also have the download show up in Soulstorm's page, so that way it'll be visible in both places))

I like this concept, though i have no idea how the programming concept will work, or if its possible, even. I will say that I'm really hoping this releases; more admech is always welcome. Watching with interest. My advice, if its worth anything at all, is to throw together a build asap, maybe using placeholder structures (space marine ones would work), and then add on graphical assets as they're made. It'll feel a lot less daunting with a playable build at your back!

Thanks for the interest and for the advice (Currently I’ve been focusing on the mech_lord’s model while I ‘finalised’ some of the designs for the programming system (may change a little during implementation), but the mech_lord looks reasonably good now (she just needs aiming animations for her drones, etc)
so if you think I should run an early release with placeholders, then I’ll see what I can do (I’ll have a start at implementing the programming interface today)

Interesting, I don't see this working all too well but what I know, Ill give it a try if it comes out quite stable and if i dont like it then that's fine.

Thanks for the interest, (even I'm not 100% sure yet how programming the robots will all turn out in the end but is seemed like something worth attempting, (it oddly might not actually be that difficult to implement))
(I think Dantles1992 has some of his own ideas for this mod too, so if he's still on board with helping, but want to take the mod in a different direction, later the mod might also get a secondary implementation (based on Dantles's ideas as a kind of thankyou gift))
